If the World doesn't care about you, it goes to show that the wealthy who own it don't give a rat's ass about you either. This is a beautiful example of just how ugly things can get while you are trying to survive one day to the next trying to earn a living.

This is how giant corporations horsewhip employees. The whip is the greatest invention known to man to squeeze every last drop of profit a.k.a blood out of hard working, decent people. According to this letter, Amazon warehouse workers are treated as if they were nothing more than cattle. Jeff Bezos didn't become one of the richest men on Earth by spreading the love. He got there using all the ruthless tactics he could that were at his disposal.

On June 20, 2023, Bernard (Bernie) Sanders, Chair of the U.S. Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions sent the following letter to Andy Jassy, the Chief Executive Officer of Amazon.com, Inc.

I watched the interview Sanders did on MSNBC. Sanders was outraged. He said the least Bezos could do is buy electric handcarts for his employees. This would ease stress on their bodies, helping to eliminate future injuries. I don't think it happened. Spending money on new equipment doesn't mesh with company metrics. There is also the cost of electricity to power and recharge these handcarts. At the end of the day, it is always about the All Mighty Dollar. Bezos has them and he plans on keeping them. Dollars are more important than human beings.
