What can I say? Do any of us need more evidence that Trump is a vindictive man filled with hate?

He has made it clear that anyone who says things about him that are not nice will be punished. Is this the kind of behavior we have come to expect from a President of the United States? And he is pushing for a Noble Peace Prize. His 21 point plan for Gaza is nothing more than an infomercial. Trump has added ending the war in Gaza to his list of other wars he, and he alone, has brought to an end. The number is up to eight now and counting.

I don't know what is more disturbing. Watching the FBI Director have a temper tantrum
or watching the Press Secretary having one.
You know the expression, "monkey see, momkey do."

I'm too old for this shit. I haven't given up on caring that this country is professionally and morally circling the drain. Authoritarian governments come and go but the damage they cause lingers well into the future.
The hardship and pain they cause is immediate.

The greatest contribution the United States has made to the world is adherence to 'the rule of law.'

The rule of law is the fundamental principle that all individuals and institutions, including the government, are accountable to laws that are publicly promulgated, equally enforced, and independently adjudicated. It contrasts with arbitrary rule or tyranny by ensuring laws are applied fairly to everyone, protecting citizens' rights, and providing a predictable and stable framework for society. Key aspects include government accountability, equal application of the law, transparency, and the separation of powers among government branches.

We are no longer the beacon on the hill. This is why I am laying low and enjoying the remaining golden years of my retirement. The American Dream is not a pipe dream . I still believe.

I realize people are upset that the Trump Administration is shutting down anyone and everyone who isn't 'saying' the right things, or 'reporting' the right things. The future looks dark concerning personal liberties protected by the rule of law. I have told people this and I will repeat it again, "laws don't mean squat if they are not enforced."

The jackboot of authoritarianism is being jammed up our ass. This is a definition; Authoritarianism is a system of government where a single leader or a small group holds absolute power, with little or no accountability to the people, suppressing individual freedoms and opposition to maintain control. Sound familiar?

Consider this.

I have been surfing the web on my laptop looking at Python Programming videos, books, and articles. I go to Instagram and I am getting advertisements for ‘Python Boot-camps’. I got ZERO advertisements for anything Python until I was looking at it the past couple days. Why is Meta a.k.a. Zuckerberg spying on my World Wide Web searches, and HOW is he doing it? I don’t have a Facebook account so META could not have hooked into my laptop through that. Zuckerberg has no business monitoring my personal web surfing. I didn’t give him permission to collect my personal data so he can stuff more money into his pockets. I don’t think what Zuckerberg is doing is even legal. I NEVER surf the WWW on my iPad, so he couldn’t have gotten this information from it. It had to come from my laptop.

META must be monitoring the entire WWW under the umbrella of ‘collecting data’ to train his AI agents. The government must have given them the green light. What is this telling me? Is Zuckerberg getting technical help to make this happen from The National Security Agency (NSA), which includes Signals Intelligence (SIGINT)?

Damn!

Trump recenlty had a dinner with all the top CEO billionaires. Zuckerberg was sitting directly to his right
with Melania sitting directly to Trump's left.

This bastard can do what ever the hell he wants. Censorship is crashing down like a bag of hammers on all communication, whatever form the discourse takes. Is anyone concerned with possible violations of the Fifth and Fourteenth Amendments? Their Due Process Clauses protect individuals from undue government interference in their personal lives. Clearly, Zuckerberg is trampling these rights with impunity.

My motto echos, Run Silent Run Deep. Funny, I am not silent here in my little domain, my insignificant corner of the WWW. If I was smart, I'd watch my back. I had to make this last observation of bullshit. Now, it's personal.

Keeping occupied. I have watched some news. It's all horrible. What the hell is wrong with people? I have my eye on the prize, as the saying goes. I honestly have nothing else to say at the present moment. Good things are happening on the home front, even if the rest of the world is slowing slipping even further into the depths of insanity.

The reason I even bother to look outside the window is to learn if a nuclear missile was launched. The way things are rolling, it isn't that far a stretch of the imagination.

I upgraded my 'meta tags' to the modern formats used now. I will not go back and change all previous pages. That would be insane. I like the idea that the old, useless, archaic tags will live on in cyberspace long after I am cold and dead in the grave. What is Time to Blog!? It's an obscure website that contains more dribble than substance. It tells a story of one man's short and brief stint on planet Earth. This is what he thought about. This is how he felt. Nothing more. It never was about being popular, famous, or making a pile of money.

The purpose was to catch a ride on the Information Superhighway. Having the right to speak your opinion is fundamental to our liberty. The right to form your own opinion is yours. The choice to march to the sound of your own drum is the first step of a greater journey. The World Wide Web (WWW) made it possible for anyone on the face of the Earth with a computer and a means to hook it into the Internet, to connect to a webpage. It was possible that something I thought, words inserted into an electronic page, could be read by someone on the other side of the planet. This fascinated me. I learned to create a simple HTML page that accomplsihed this goal. It didn't matter if it was simple. Simple is all it had to be.

I am considering on learning the new technologies that make web-pages look better. It is nothing more than a cosmetic exercise as far as serving the purpose of what I am trying to accomplish. I recently gave you, the user, an option to view this page in a "dark theme' format. That seems to be what is trending these days. I could care less. I made the option possible just to see if I could make it work. That is the only motivation to upgrade my presentation. I enjoy the idea having the ability to broadcast a message around the world. I also enjoy programming at my novice level and making something work.

I have this crazy idea it is possible for me to program smart contracts and continue this ride down the Information Superhighway.
Nothing has changed.

The "Information Superhighway" was this magical road we were introduced to. It was paved with gold. This is a meme we were all familiar with, on a conscious and an unconscious level. They sold this digital reality to us and we bought it hook, line and sinker, even if we really didn't know what it was. Now, AI is just the latest passenger. The billionaires are dreaming of the days when they will become trillionaires. The world is being sold a bill of goods that this new technology is going to create a 'workers paradise'. We will get a Universal Basic Income (USB). Everything we need will be dropped into our laps. People are eating it up with a big spoon, just like they did when Al Gore used the term information superhighway in a report titled Technology for America's Economic Growth. He again famously used it as a keynote speaker at UCLA's Superhighway Summit on January 11, 1994, describing a "dream for... an information superhighway".

I see smart contracts as the key to stitching the old and the new technologies together. This is how this digital world will be engineered. It is the convergence of block-chain and artificial intelligence. It is the final grand interfusing of man and machine. The people who built this digital Frankenstein warn that it could be dangerous. They have assured us they are teaching this machine mind that will have the IQ of one billion to behave and serve humanity with humility and compassion. The wispers on Wall Street are, "that's nice, but will this invention of yours stuff so much money into our pockets we won't know what to do with it?" The man and woman in the street are beginning to realize this digital marvel might, and most likely will, replace them in the workplace. But hey, they said things will work out. And this thing is bright and shiny! It has to be good.

I fancy the idea of building something that might run on this emerging technology. If it's possible to stuff a few dollars in my pockets in the process, why not? I have been reckless and impulsive. I have not been financially mature. This lack of judgment has come back to haunt me. There is wealth to be created. Wall Street is saying, "forget about improving the lives of these schmucks that work for us. They have always been expendable." AI is the nail in the coffin. These pricks are digging graves while the sun shines. I need to grab a shovel and start digging for gold.

Look, it is every man for himself. I cannot be held responsible when the shit hits the fan.

It matters that the attack of the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001 at 7:46 AM CDT will forever be riddled with questions. I must accept these inquiries will never be seriously addressed in my lifetime. Twenty four years have passed. History is written. What the future may reveal, when all is said and done, is also unknown. I would like to believe that justice will be served and the guilty responsible for perceived wrong doing, will be revealed.

What matters today is to remember the 2,977 people who perished.

I like Tom Hanks. I think he is a fine actor and I have enjoyed some of the movies I have seen where he had a leading role. This comment by Trump is beneath the dignity of the Oval Office.

Our great West Point (getting greater all the time!) has smartly canceled the Award Ceremony for actor Tom Hanks. Important move! We don't need destructive, WOKE recipients getting our cherished American Awards!!! Hopefully the Academy Awards, and other Fake Award Shows, will review their Standards and Practices in the name of Fairness and Justice. Watch their DEAD RATINGS SURGE!

There are so many other things the President could be doing, and should be doing. This preoccupation with being the center of attention on the world's social media global stage is juvenile. As President of the United States, he is a role model. It's part of the job. Trump doesn't have an 'administration'. He has an entourage of childish buffoons kissing his ass twenty four hours a day, seven days a week. Those serving in his inner circle and holding key positions are mirrored reflections of Trump himself. They lash out and attack anyone who questions the cesspool of deceit that they are instigating.

Personally, I don't give a flying fuck what Trump is doing or what he is saying. I didn't pay close attention to news surrounding President George Bush. I didn't care for Obama. He was too Hollywood for my personal taste. I grew tired of seeing Joe Biden out on the White House lawn surrounded by freaks. The more things change, the more they stay the same. The fish stinks from the head down.

The only thing I want to accomplish is creating a hate free environment where I can spend the rest of my life. I am in a struggle with forces that wish to toss me in a ditch and leave me for dead. I cannot afford to waste time or energy on turds walking upright. Unfortunately, the World Wide Web (WWW) is chock full of them. So are the streets I walk. I must tread lightly.

I cannot even open up the Microsoft main news page without stepping in dog shit. All I want to do is stay informed on what is generally happening in the country and the world. I was taught we have a responsibilty to make this effort. A bag of hammers is falling onto the United States and no one is to blame but Donald John Trump. This is the kind of post a 10 year old boy makes to impress other 10 year old boys. When I say Trump and the goons around him make one threat after another, day in and day out, I am being quite serious. This isn't funny. It never was. It's an embarasment.

What has to happen before the question of our President's mental heath becomes a serious issue? For crying out loud.
This nonsense needs to come to a swift end.

On Saturday, Trump put up this 'Apocalypse Now' themed post, complete with an AI generated illustration that seems to show Trump supervising as helicopters drop napalm on Chicago. In case that threat wasn't clear enough, Trump also wrote, "Chicago about to find out why it's called the Department of WAR"

As President Donald Trump departed the White House for the U.S. Open on Sunday,
a reporter asked what seemed like a highly inflammatory question,

"Are you trying to go to war with Chicago?" said NBC's Yamiche Alcindor.
"When you say that, darling, that's fake news," Trump shot back.
Alcindor tried to ask a follow up question and the president unloaded on her,

"Listen. Be quiet. Listen. You don’t listen. You never listen. That's why you’re second-rate," he said. "We're not going to war. We're going to clean up our cities. We're going to clean them up so they don't kill five people every weekend. That's not war, that's common sense."

The clown show never ends.

Rudy Giuliani will receive a Presidential Medal of Freedom

Americans are awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom for exceptional contributions to the security or national interests of the U.S., world peace, or significant cultural or other public or private endeavors. The accomplishments recognized are vast and varied, ranging from politics and civil rights to arts, sports, and science.

The President has broad authority in choosing recipients, often selecting individuals whose achievements align with their personal and political perspectives. Trump in a statement on social media called Giuliani the "greatest Mayor in the history of New York City, and an equally great American Patriot."

Giuliani rose to prominence in US politics for leading New York City during the September 11, 2001, attacks and their aftermath. He later became a lawyer for Trump, taking part in an effort to keep him in office, despite his loss in the 2020 election, by spreading Trump's false claims of significant fraud. The disgraced former mayor was later disbarred for those actions. A pair of Georgia election workers were falsely accused by Giuliani of rigging the voting process. He was sued. The workers were awarded a $148 million dollar judgment.

Giuliani reached a settlement with Georgia election workers Ruby Freeman and Wandrea "Shaye" Moss in January 2025, in which he agreed to provide compensation for defamation. The agreement resolved the years long case involving false election fraud claims that subjected the two women to death threats and harassment. The judgment against Giuliani was officially satisfied in February 2025.

This is where things have come, and the road we trod since Trump took office in 2024. Giuliani will receive the Presidential Medal of Freedom for his relentless ass kissing of Donald J. Trump. As an attorney, Giuliani sacrificed his personal integrity and his oath and allegiance to protect and uphold the rule of law. He attacked with malice, law abiding citizens. He branded anyone who disagreed with his personal views as traitors. Let us not forget, Rudy Giuliani gave a speech at Donald Trump's "Save America" rally on January 6, before Trump protestors stormed the Capitol building in a riot. Giuliani said, "Let's have trial by combat."

The inclusion of this despicable individual to such an illustrious group diminishes us all. It tarnishes and demeans the very character of who we are as a people.

The Summer heat is over. I am grateful. My favorite time of the year has begun. It's all good.

The heat is on elsewhere. China is the host of this year's SCO Summit, which takes place in Tianjin from August 31 to September 1. At a time when much of the world is grappling with the chaos unleashed by Trump's tariffs and threats, analysts expect the SCO conclave to serve as a platform for Xi to project his country as a stabilizing force, capable of uniting the Global South to counterbalance the West, particularly the US. As you can see from the above picture, it is one big love fest. Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi and President of Russia Vladimir Putin were unable to refrain from embracing each other.
