Sitting here at the library. There are on;one classes I would like to
browse or even complete. My IPad Air tablet is still frozen. I have not
been able to get it to someone who can fix this. I really need to get
this done. The weather is getting colder and the homeless are coming
into the library to stay warm. I don't mind that. I need privavcy if I
am to focus on study.
No real news coming out of Ukraine. Talk of a limited nuclear strike
sprinkle the daily articles. There must be an algorithm that measures the
level of despair and fear that snakes through the digital landscape,
collecting information and spitting out statistics. If it deviates a
certain percentage, a new article pops up somewhere telling us that
Putin has gone crazy, or is even crazier than he was yesterday, and he
is going to push the button. I have seen articles on, "what to do in
the event of a nuclear war." I believe the short answer is, "kiss your
ass goodbye." I don't know what the article suggested. I didn't read
it.
The pertinent question should be, "what is President Biden going to do
in the event of a tactical nuclear strike?" Given Papa Joe's declining
cognitive ability, the short answer is, kiss your ass goodbye."

This poor, ignorant slob brings shame to the people of Iowa. He was one
of the first 10 rioters to enter the Capitol during the insurrection.
Jensen was found guilty on seven counts, including felony charges of
civil disorder, and assaulting, resisting or impeding officers. During
the trial, his attorney described his client as a "typical
Midwesterner," and a "blue collar worker."
Sentencing is scheduled for Dec. 16. his wife, April, cried as the verdicts were read.

Just when I think it isn't possible to sink deeper into the depths of
ignorance, someone proves me wrong. The woman can be heard screaming,
"Everywhere I f*cking go, you Indians are f*cking everywhere. Please,
I’m trying to be civil here. If life is so great in India, why the f*ck
are y'all here?"
Over the course of the 18 years I have been posting, I have refrained from using profanity. During the past year, it has entered into the vocabulary. It is a sad state of affairs when profanity are the only words that can describe the proper levels of outrage, disbelief, or disdain. In the future, I will try to hold true to my original intent. It is getting dificult, if not impossible not to cry out, "What the fuck happened?"
I was thinking about Brittney Griner. I have read that she is rotting away and slowly dying in a Russian gulag. She got caught with weed oil. That should not incur a death sentence. This woman had no protection from persons who are supposed to be watching out for people like her. She should have been advised not to go to Russia in the first place given the political climate between Putin and the Biden Administration. Putin is at war with Ukraine. We are giving military aid to Ukraine. Biden called Putin a killer. Now, Putin is pissing on Biden's face for all the world to see. People are saying, if we make enough noise about Griner being detained, Putin will care about what people think. The man is responsible for the mass killing of ten's of thousands of innocent human beings. Does he care? Why would anyone think he cares about the life of one human being? He is going to make Biden look like a weak, stupid fool at every opportunity. Slowing draining the life out of Brittney Griner fits the bill. I am not happy things have turned out this way, but I can not pretend it isn't happening just because I don't like what I see. The Truth has raised it's ugly head and this woman is going to suffer. The chances of Papa Joe getting her out of Russia alive are slim.
I am reading 'Valis' by Philip K. Dick. I like his writing style. I am still thinking about the story rolling around my mind. I need to get it down on paper.
I'm kicking back. The world has gone to hell and the point of no return is now in the distant past. The only hope I have is to somehow create a simple life for myself and enjoy something I can create with my own two hands and using the power of my mind. What is left of it.
