I did some digging into this Ukraine mess involving what President Trump said to the President of that country during a phone conversation on July 25, 2019. When I first heard the "breaking" news on the television, I thought the Earth had opened up and the United States of America was being swallowed whole. This was the most heinous political crime by a sitting President since Watergate. If there was any real justice in the legal system, Trump would have been escorted to the public square and executed on the spot. Read the transcript. There is a note saying that this transcript is not a verbatim account. It is close enough to get the gist of it.
There are two lines, maybe three total that refer to Biden and his son. There is no inquiry in any way, shape, or form to dig up any political dirt on Joe Biden or his son to use in the 2020 presidential election. What President Trump was asking about was information on Joe Biden threatening a Ukranian prosecutor. In his own words, that is exactly what Joe Biden did. He flat out brags about withholding US military aid to Ukraine unless they sack this person he doesn't care for. If anyone has violated the power of their elected office, I would say it has to be Joe Biden, not President Trump. 95% of this transcript is the sound of President Volodymyr Zelensky spit shinning Trump's shoes with his tongue. I didn't think it was possible to kiss a man's ass with that much vigor and still bat right handed.
I want to tell you why I felt I had to dig into this further. The idea that President Trump would contact the President of Ukraine with the intention of asking him to dig up political dirt on Joe Biden and his son, to use in the 2020 presidential election doesn't even pass the laugh test. If you want to dig up dirt on someone, you hire the best people that money can buy. I would call Israel, and have the Mossad rip Biden a new asshole. I would not be calling Ukraine. CNN, and the rest of the news clowns should be ashamed of themselves. This is not the first time I have questioned the integrity of CNN News. They talk to me as if I were a complete idiot. I got news for you CNN. You are a laughing stock. I know that Walter Cronkite is rolling in his grave over the mockery you have made of his honored profession.
One question does remain. Why did the transcript of this phone call get put into a database that is supposed to be used for information judged to be highly sensitive to national security? If this was done, and I hope it wasn't, it was not a smart move. I think it was put there because the White House is tired of these crusaders and their personal witch hunts. The national media doen't report the news. They create it to make money and to further their own personal agendas. I think the constant pressure the President has been under since day one is taking it's toll on him, and I am tired of it.
