Talk about going off the deep end. How about going on a killing spree that includes dismembering a cat
and beating an 81 year old woman to death? Sources are convinced this guy had taken some sort of new synthetic designer drug called Smiles.
Oddly enough, back in 2004 Lewis promoted Narcanon, an anti-drug program created by the Church of Scientology.
Lewis' parents were both active in the Church, with his father, Michael Lewis, appearing in an instructional
self-help video based on the works of L. Ron Hubbard, the Church's founder.

Interestingly, The Church of Scientology has removed photographs of Johnny Lewis from all of their web sites as well
as the story about his appearance at the Narcanon event.
According to an unnamed Scientology source, Lewis was not active in the Church for several years.

I'm sure people are using this horrendous incident to lay claim to the fact that Scientology makes people go crazy.
I can't confirm or deny that. It's easy to point fingers at other people. Doing so doesn't prove anything.
I have been reading some materials on Scientology recently because I was doing research into remote viewing.
If you do any serious inquiry into this subject, you will discover Ingo Swann. Ingo Swann was an early member of
The Church of Scientology and had reached the level of Operating Thetan 7,
the highest level at that time. He felt an obligation to go out into the world and show people what an OT 7 was capable of.
His talent was the ability to control and manipulate Matter, Energy, Space and Time (MEST) by remotely viewing objects at great distances.
Exhaustive studies and experiments were done. His abilities were real. Despite all the bad press remote viewing got when it came
into the public spotlight, and all the crazy morons since then who are making ridiculous claims and fleecing the general public
with expensive flim flam seminars and workshops, Ingo Swann was the genuine item. He wrote the book. He trained
others to do what he could do. Ingo Swann credited his study of Scientology for the development of his natural abilities.
In fact, at the height of the remote viewing project being conducted at the Stanford Research Institute (SRI), there were a dozen or so
active or former Scientologists working on the project.

If you are going to make claims about something, you have to look at all the evidence. I must confess, the majority of the materials I have uncovered concerning
Scientology were negative. It appears that the technology is sound. How this technology is being used and how the Church is being run is another story.

I love Lady Gaga because she is a rebel. This photo smacks of Frank Zappa another rebel in his time. I hope she doesn't go crazy.
I don't know why I think this but I am afraid she is under a great deal of stress. I could be wrong.

My feeling that Romney doesn't give a rat's ass seems to be on the mark. Here it is late into the presidential campaign,
and he is still hob nobbling with his own kind at the elite pig trough for $50,000 a plate making smart ass remarks about
the people who work for a living. Even if he is elected things are not going to change. It is possible. Things can change but that would
entail a semblance of equality in this country and we can't have anything of that sort.

A marijuana-using Madison Police sergeant has retired instead of accepting a demotion to the rank of officer.
Steve Beavers, 53, a 21-year-veteran of the force, is leaving effective Sept. 30, the retirement accepted
by Police Chief Noble Wray. Beavers was suspected of using marijuana in May.

An internal investigation didn't reveal any use of illegal drugs by Beavers while on duty, but did reveal the occasional
use of marijuana by Beavers outside work over the past few years, including as recently as June.

I love this. Look at this man. He looks happy. Maybe the police in California should be smoking a little weed
on their day's off. If they did, perhaps they would be less prone to beating the general public.

It's been nice to get back into the swing of jotting pen to paper, as it is in this digital age, but I'm leery of it at the same time.
It isn't always best to be wearing your heart on your sleeve. The jest of it, this is par for the course in the digital age. We send instant messages.
We post our comings and our goings on Facebook. We chronicle our lives on Twitter. We've let our guard down. It doesn't matter if the entire planet knows
we are crazy. As long as everyone else is doing it, it seems harmless. It isn't. Look at the shit storm these social media gizmos have created.
Just something to consider.

Programming and Metaprogramming in THE HUMAN BIOCOMPUTER
An Intreview with John C. Lilly, M. D.

It is surprising to find things like this interview. Here is a man who explored the inner mind. A 20th century shaman.
Others get the spotlight while heroes quietly do the heavy lifting.

The new job is ok. It is not a bad job. Once I get the hang of it, it should be something I can hang with for awhile.
Since I have to, this is a good thing. I like Romney's proposal that we develop our oil resources. The oil is in Alaska.
The reserves there are as great as those in Saudi Arabia. This isn't a fact that is hammered in the main stream media.
The oil fat cats wish us to think that crude is more scare than it really is. This keeps the price high and their wallets fat.
America has large coal deposits. They may be the largest anywhere. We can convert coal into synthetic crude.
The Germans were doing it in the late 1940's. The technology is there. If you want to be honest, the technology is under wraps
that would forever change the balance of power in this country.

I'm not even proposing we take this immediate drastic step. Release enough of the secret shit that can pull the USA economy out of the toilet.
Developing our capacity to produce crude oil and building the plants to refine it is a good step. It keeps everyone happy. I believe it would be
possible to create 12 million jobs if we pursue this. Obama had his chance. He dropped the ball. He stuffed cash into the back pockets of his Wall Street buddies.

We all know it. Anyone who votes for him and thinks he will make a difference in the next four years is a fool. I'm not saying Romney is clean.
His hands are dirty. He doesn't have my best interests at heart and I'm not going to kid myself about that. But his plan, if he pushes it, can pull our
economic chestnuts out of the fire. For that reason alone I think a vote for him is the way to go in November.

I can't say I'm back. I certainly have taken a hiatus from my blog here. I missed it. I missed the avenue to create something.
This avenue hasn't always been a road I could easily trod. I don't know how to create the opportunity to create anything. This has always been my greatest
character flaw; my Achilles heel.

I have my hands full. I have to go back to work. The present world financial debacle isn't making it easier to continue moving forward with
security in the wake. I have had to accept what has been offered and that offering is a spot in the assembly line along side the other worker drones.
The alternative is living in the street with an increased decline in my life expectancy. This isn't an acceptable option. Dragging my broken spirit home each day
to a humble home is better than no home at all. I find solace here in my simple web site. Things could be worse.
For the time being, I have to accept whatever paying position presents itself.

This is primitive but it is a start. I went from knowing zero to something -- my first attempt at writing a Powershell script.

I believe in the right to defend yourself but this guy is just too happy and champing at the bit for more action.
Check out the news story and the video.

The old codger is sitting there with a rifle in his lap on camera re-enacting the shooting. The guy took the punk out with one clean shot.
I realize he was in his legal right to shoot the guy but this old dude is admitting it was basically an execution and he is proud of the fact.
It would seem to me you can only push it so far. What is there to stop the family from filing a complaint against this man with the District Attorney?
Even law enforcement has to watch their backs when it comes to gunning down a citizen regardless if he is running amok with a loaded weapon.
Given the fact this man is bragging about being ex-military and that he sat there and waited for the intruder to walk up the stairs from the basement
into the living room before he aimed and killed the guy with one shot, it doesn't feel right to me legally. It smells to close to being a pre-mediated murder
as opposed to being a simpler act of self defense. The old man should know better. You can't be dancing a jig over the dead body no matter how
vile a piece of scum this shit head might have been.

I found a job. To be specific, it found me. A hiring agency in Madison, WI. was trolling the Internet looking at resumes. This distribution center
in Windsor, WI. run by Walgreens is hiring workers. This hiring agency liked what they saw on my resume and they called me and asked me if I was looking
for work. I was. The business establishment in this small, hillbilly town I live in deems itself too good to be hiring the likes of myself.
That's ok. This job with Walgreens is a good job. They did require a urine test to see if I had any marijuana in my system. I don't.
It's good to know they are making a small effort to weed out knuckle heads who haven't got the will power to stay clean long enough to get a job.

This position isn't one that requires a lot of heavy lifting. I will be packing materials into some tote boxes
and these materials will be shipped to other Walgreens stores to be stocked on their shelves. It isn't brain surgery and from what I am hearing,
it pays good once you pay your dues with the hiring agency and get on the Walgreens payroll. This isn't my dream IT job, but that dream isn't going to materialize.
I came to accept this reality a long time ago. I'm still learning everything I can about Powershell, but it is a hobby. I still enjoy it so it's all good.

I have no choice but to work. I am looking on the bright side of things here. This is a decent shot at putting some cash in my pocket. It will pay my bills.
I can keep living here in my humble surroundings in this quite, sleepy little hillbilly town. I can't afford to live in Madison. I have to drive 24 miles one way to and from the distribution center, but commuting to and from work is par for the course. It is all interstate driving. A clean straight shot actually.
I have a decent car. The Buick gets good gas milage. It isn't going to break me driving back and forth everyday. I drove to Fort Atkinson four years
and the distance was about the same. I am too young to quit working and I am too poor to not be working, so that is the size of it. I will make this work.
The other alternative is becoming homeless. That isn't a viable option.
