I'm glad that inflation is cooler than expected. It's all good. It must be my imagination that I am unable to buy food after I pay rent, water, and electricity. If I had debts to pay like car or student loans, or even a modest credit card monthy installment, I'd be living in a cardboard box in the street. But what do I know? I'll tell you. I don't know jack shit because as far as the US economy is concerned, I am living in a Golden Age of wealth expansion.

An interesting historical fact.

The Federal Reserve (Fed) formally adopted a 2% inflation target in January 2012. This decision was announced in the Federal Open Market Committee's (FOMC) "Statement on Longer-Run Goals and Monetary Policy Strategy," which specified that an inflation rate of 2%, as measured by the annual change in the personal consumption expenditures price index, is most consistent with the Fed's statutory mandate. While this was the official announcement, the Fed had been operating with a de facto 2% target for some time before 2012, and the shift towards this number gained consensus after the 2008 recession, according to the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco.

Here's another chart. There wasn't a description of exactly what this chart is representing. It could be Trump's approval rating. It could be consumer confidence. I think it is an accurate graphical illustration of America's declining global respect since the November 5, 2024 presidential election. For all I know, it's just what it looks like; a picture of Trump pissing on who ever and what ever he feels like pissing on at any given moment.

All sarcasm aside. I have aces up my sleeve and I'm playing them. The final push to the finish line will be nothing short of a vicious and brutal street fight.
This is a battle I intend to win.

I am keeping fit. Fighting off the forces of Evil requires both a strong body and mind. Eating one meal a day, or less, is helping keep the waistline in check.

I've been silent. It isn't neccessary to beat me over the head. I got the message.

Reticence does not mean consent. I do not condone the new status quo. My unwillingness to speak freely is rooted in the obvious failure of the institutions responsible for enforcing compliance with the rule of law. I've mentioned names of those who should be held accountable for endorsing and openly promoting corruption with impunity.

Impunity is the exemption from punishment, harm, or negative consequences for one's actions. It describes a state where a person or group can act with a perceived freedom from accountability, such as criminals operating "with impunity" or a culture within an organization that allows misconduct to go unpunished.

Can there be any shadow of a doubt to what the culture in Washington has become? The only thing that matters is loyalty to the Party. Moral integrity. Competence. Common decency. These values are meaningless. When historians look back and point to examples of corruption at the highest levels in the Trump Administration, the case of Tom Holman will forever be a defining example.

The Democratic Party's solution to fighting fraud, graft, and malfeasance of Donald J. Trump is Miss Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez's fight Oligarchy in American feel good rallies. Either they are too feeble to raise genuine resistance, or they are in on the subjugation.

Trump would rather give his good buddy Javier Gerardo Milei $40 billion dollars than help working class Americans who can't buy food or pay for medical care.

Remember, Milei ran a crypto currencey scam on the people of Argentina.

The $LIBRA ($LIBRA) cryptocurrency scandal (February 2025)
Milei's endorsement: On February 14, 2025, Argentine President Javier Milei used his official X (formerly Twitter) account to promote the $LIBRA token, a meme coin developed by Kelsier Ventures, a Delaware-registered company. The post was viewed by his nearly 4 million followers and falsely claimed the project would fund Argentine businesses.

Value crash and allegations of a "rug pull": Following Milei's endorsement, the token's value surged rapidly but then plummeted within hours after large initial holders sold their holdings. This created an event described as a "rug pull," where the price crashed, causing devastating losses for thousands of small investors. Some analysts noted that the incident had the hallmarks of a "pump and dump" scheme, a common form of manipulative trading.

Birds of a feather flock together. Trump pledged to drain the swamp. Under the present administration, Washington has become a gathering
of the lowest scum that crawls the face of the Earth.

That sums it up. So much for being silent. This is all I have to say on the matter. I will sit and watch as Evil triumphs. This jubilation is temporary. I am certain. I honestly don't know if I will live to see the pendulum swing back to a time of decency and justice. I pray I do but I can't count on it. What ever happens, I will survive.

Time to heed my own advice, "run silent run deep."

After watching and listening to how United States Attorney General Pam Bondi, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt, and Kristi Noem Secretary of Homeland Security treat reporters, members of Congress, and State Senators, I have come to a conclusion. They have a contest among themselves to see who is the biggest cunt in the Trump Administration.

Why are these individuals and other Trump loyalists who appear before Senate Committees and other Congressional hearings allowed to berate members of Congress, lie at will, and make threats of retribution? There are laws that compel these people to answer questions. They flat out show contempt if the questions asked are not to their liking. The simplest of queries are ignored. Any acknowledgment grudgingly given are nothing but fabrications and party line propaganda.

I see Congressman and US Senators whine about the destruction of Democracy at the hands of President Trump. These same cry babies have whithin their powers to bring charges of perjury and contempt to those individuals who choose to thumb their noses at the rule of law. They have not done so and I doubt if charges will ever be brought. When the time comes to dispense blame for failure to protect the Constituion and the rule of law in this country, there won't be enough fingers to point.

Cunt - Insult for a woman.
It is widely used as an insulting and misogynistic term for a woman, especially one who is regarded as malicious, contemptible, or unpleasant.

My energies have re-focused; Time to Blog! needs to change to Time to Write! What I do here is writing but it isn't being done with the expectations it will be consumed in a larger forum.

I want to create something that has a unique perspective. It is possible to accomplish this by shedding a new light and approach discovering how to learn. Specifically, how to grasp and use the UNIX operating system. This understanding is a first step on the journey of learning how to program a computer using tools and a programming language of your choice.

I have crawled through the muck of YouTube video. I have experienced the frustration of working through courses that promise much but deliver little. Examples of source code meant to edify do not deliver results. The code is broken along with the promise of expertise.

I can do better. The message of Time to Blog! isn't complicated. All I am saying is, "I was here." It isn't enough. I cannot say with complete honesty, "I made a difference." It's time.

Sean "Diddy" Combs has been sentenced to 50 months in prison for his conviction on two prostitution related offenses. He gets credit for time served since his arrest. Combs has already spent 12 months at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn. Before the judge read the sentence, Combs tearfully apologized in court, saying, "I've been humbled and broken to my core."

Federal prosecutors argued Combs deserved at least 11 years in prison, while Combs'
lawyers asked for a sentence of no more than 14 months.

Has justice been served? I don't know the answer to that question. The people who had their lives destroyed by this predator may not feel it has. Some might think, "at least he didn't get off the hook and was punished for the perversion he brought into this world." Was the degree of punishment fit? History will judge.

With time served, Combs will do 3 years in prison. I'm sure his wealth will shield him from the realities of prison life you or I would have to endure if we were in his shoes. I see Combs relaxing in a spacious private cell surrounded by the comforts of modern life. He isn't going to be breaking bread with the great unwashed.
