Goodbye November. The year 2021 has flown past me. I need to stay focused. It isn't easy.

I re-configured FileZilla to work on this Linux Mint 19.3 laptop I am using. I have two other laptops that use Mint 20.2 but I like this machine. It has all the tools I need to get done what I want to get done. The only problem is the follow through. One last observation. I said that Dubuque was the Black Hole of Calcutta for COVID-19 in the state of Iowa. This statistic might shed some light on why.

This is bad news. A new variant of COVID-19 is spreading. The BBC reported a scientist said the variant, known as B.1.1.529, was the most heavily mutated version discovered so far. It has such a long list of mutations that it was described as "horrific".

The driver of a red SUV that tore through a Waukesha, Wisconsin parade on Sunday evening, injuring over 40 people and leaving at least five dead, has been identified as 39-year-old Darrell Brooks, Jr. by the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. TMZ reports that Brooks raps under the stage name MathBoi Fly, and a fews years ago he prominently showcased the same red SUV in a music video for his song “Half a Tikket.” The song has recently been deleted from YouTube, replaced with the statement, “This video is no longer available because the YouTube account associated with this video has been terminated.”

Brooks has been arrested several times previously, most recently on November 5th, when he was charged as part of a domestic abuse incident. A woman claimed that he followed her to a gas station after a fight and ran her "over with his vehicle." He was also charged with resisting or obstructing an officer and reckless endangerment. In the last two years, he was charged two additional times with recklessly endangering the safety of others.

It is a shame this man's musical career will be cut short. In the present, "let us embrace scum" movement sweeping across America, he would have won a Grammy. I don't know if justice will be served in this case. This video alone is worth a hefty prison sentence.



No one gives a shit till someone ends up dead. Even then, no one gives a damn. I never saw a video or read an article where Kyle Rittenhouse showed remorse for killing two people. All he has to say is, "I didn't do anything wrong." How long will it take before this white trash psycho kills again? I am not joking. This cold blooded butchering animal is being given the green light to kill again. Listen to what he is telling Tucker Carlson. Rittenhouse claims he stopped people from going out to riot and kill people. He was doing his patriotic duty to stop it. It was never proven that the two people he shot and killed at point blank range killed anyone. This twisted young man is living in a make believe world where he is judge, jury, and executioner.

I mentioned the other day that a mushroom cloud was rising on the near horizon and casino workers were marching straight into it. I said the casino I work in was ground zero for the spread of COVID-19 and that employees were dropping like flies. Nothing has changed. Things are getting worse by the minute. I don't know what other choice I have. Without the paychecks coming in, the roof over my head and the food on my plate vanish into thin air. If that were to happen, I might as well be dead. Everyday I return to work, I am rolling the bones.

It has been 100 days since I returned to the casino business. God only knows what the next 100 will bring.

The severity is something I find abhorrent to look at, but I will not pretend it doesn't exist. A year is not an eternity. I have decided to tackle Python. I can make web pages using HTML5|CSS3|JavaScript if needed. I don't have to become a "full stack web developer" to get my message across the World Wide Web. I need to know Python so I can say I KNOW a programming language and go through this course I have, "build a blockchain with Python." A project is in the works. I have a year to lay the ground work. I will also add C to my computer science resume, and regular expressions. This is all I need. From this base, I can learn Rust if I decide to develop projects on the Polkadot platform. The world is my oyster regardless of my age. I can choose to live NOW or not.

I can write code. I thought about a task and formulated it into instructions to the computer to make it work. I used Python, even though I have not studied the nuts and bolts of the language. The years I have spent looking at numerous programming languages (Fortran, Pascal, Perl, C, Ada, etc.) have taught me how to read code. I can use this knowledge to write it. Here is the simple program I wrote to calculate the current USD value of my crypto portfolio.

How does COVID-19 change the brain? This scientist is finding out

Facebook has been recently criticized for choosing profits over people. Corporate America is at fault and it is easy to point the finger at Mark Zuckerberg. The casino I work for is ground zero for the rampant spread of COVID-19 in Dubuque Country, along with the other casino in town. The environment is prime for the spread of the virus. Players are not required to wear masks. CDC guidelines say they should. No temperature checks are done. People are packed in like sardines Friday and Saturday nights. I am nothing more than a soldier of the corporation and my orders are to march towards the rising mushroom cloud. Casualties are high and rising.

I will wear my mask at work. I will stay close to home on my days off. I will take my vitamins and eat healthy. I will do what is in my power to survive. I will save as much cash as I can as quickly as I can.

I will not spend the rest of my life working in this shit hole. Most of the people I work with are good. There are some managers who entertain themselves by creating a hostile working environment for workers they don't personally care for. They are children and they have no business using their positions to make life difficult for others who are doing nothing more than trying to make a living. It must be sad to go through life filled with hate, but hate is all they know. I don't belong in this place but I have to accomplish some things first before I can walk away for good, once and for all.

I am doing well financially. Money will do me little good if I am tossed into the grave. I am stuck where I am for the next 6-12 months. This gives me the time to pay off my debts and to plan ahead. I did a piss poor job of it the first time around. I have learned my lesson.

The news doesn't get better as the days grow longer. Two 16-year-old high school students have been charged with first-degree murder in the death of a Spanish teacher at their Iowa school, court documents show.

The remains of Nohema Graber, who was a Spanish teacher at Fairfield High School, were discovered in Chautauqua Park in Fairfield, Iowa, on the same day she was reported missing, according to a statement posted on the city's Facebook page.

I will not be making any comments on the Kyle Rittenhouse trial. The wheels of justice are turning and I am certain a fair trial will be conducted. Regardless of what these self serving patriots and arm chair constituional lawyers think, the law prevails in this country. Not arrogance or ignorance or bullies.

Had to add this to the day's news. It is a reality check.

Realtor who flew to the Capitol riot on a private jet and said she wouldn't go to jail because of her 'blonde hair' and 'white skin' gets 60 days behind bars. She claimed she didn't do anything wrong. She is running with the crowd of morons who believe it is their Constitutional Right to vandalize federal property and to make threats to whom ever they want when ever they want. The judge gave her a break.

You think, Joe? What exactly are they uncertain about? When is the last time you turned on the television set and looked at what is happening in this country? I still have not heard about where the $43 billion dollars that was earmarked for rent payments ened up. It did not end up in the hands of renters to pay landlords.

They want us to get things done and that's why I'm continuing to push very hard for the Democratic Party to move along and pass my Infrastructure Bill and my Build Back Better Bill."

What the hell is in this Build Back Better bill? More money for the New York Metropolitan Museum to push their pornographic art projects? From what I remember, they got $40 million in the Stimulus Bill. I think the nation of Uganda got $25 million to teach "gender neutral" education. I know Biden wants to pay families of illigal immagrants from Mexico that were 'seperated' at the border $100,000 a pop. Maybe the Bill will fund this ridiculous nonsense. In the meantime, people like myself that have worked our entire lives, and due to financial circumstances beyond our control, are still working are getting nothing but empty promises.

What are people uncertain about Joe? They are uncertain if the paycheck they get this coming Friday will cover their bills. They are uncertain if they will have a roof over their heads next month. There is one thing they are certain about. You are a disgrace to the Oval Office. Read the tea leaves Joe.

Biden Appears to Doze Off during United Nations Climate Change Conference

It has been obvious for some time now that Papa Joe is tired. I watched Biden turn around and walk away from reporters who were asking him questions he was not prepared to answer. When I say prepared I mean they were not properly vetted and scheduled to be answered. The questions had to do with the hoard of immigrants heading towards Texas. The questions were about Americans left behind in Afghanistan. Biden goons came rushing in and demanded reporters leave the room. Biden was dumbfounded. I saw fear in his eyes. Looking at him 'coming to' at this Climate Conference, I see confusion in his eyes. This country is in dire straights and this climate agenda is nothing more than a diversion to the real threat we are facing; a puppet President with a radish for a brain. What are the ramifications? China will annex Taiwan. State sponsored hackers will continue to attack our digital infrastructure. Our economy will crumble. Violence in the streets of America will escalate.

Mark Zuckerberg has a solution. We can sit in closet, put on a pair of goggles, and live in a world of make believe. The real world is becoming a hostile, living nightmare. The solution is to turn our backs on it. People already have. They are living in a dream world of social media madness. The Metaverse in nothing but a logical step to this end.
