I have started a new writing project. I ran across this free service called HubPages. It is essentially a blogging site that gives you an opportunity to make a few dollars working with Google AdSense, and the Amazon.com affiliate program. Granted you can use these tools on any site you have, if you have a web hosting/domain name service like I have here. But HubPages makes it very easy to set these programs up, and the layout is clean and professional. I never intended to make money off of Time To Blog, and I don't intend to in the future. I will put a book link to Amazon on this page. If you are going to buy a book for yourself or as a gift, why not help me out? If I could make enough to support the cost of my hosting service, I would be ecstatic! But this other service is different. If I can make a few dollars I can sock away working HubPages, I see this as a good thing. No one is going to be helping me support myself in the future ... not Social Security, not the Government, and forget about counting on a 401K. So I am exploring ways to create a residual income, and plan ahead for the financial stress I know is coming. That is why I am also studying the Linux OS, and how to administer/run a server using it. If you don't keep moving forward and expand you saleable skills to complement the coming new financial world order, you are screwed. IT services and health related industries are going to fair better than other sectors of the economy. Running a health related service business is something I may be able to fall back if push comes to shove.
My Hub focuses on Physical Fitness. It is targeted to an audience 40 plus, but all ages are welcome to read my articles. This venue also gives me the opportunity to narrow my focus, and actually write something that is more of a column, as opposed to this venue where I rant/rave about the stupidity and corruption in the present age. Time To Blog also gives my readers the opportunity to find information and documentation. So it isn't like I am running totally berserk, but my parameters are different. It really do like this HubPages. I am using the tools of a free service and creating a professional, well written product. I have the opportunity to show case my research/writing skills. I am honing my skill to focus on a particular subject and systematically build a fitness program from the ground up. It also helps me get more involved in my own physical fitness which I desperately need to do.

No one can tell me I don't have eyes to see, and ears to listen with. Can there be ANY doubt what so ever that the Obama Administration will be conducting business as usual? The war in Afghanistan and Iraq will go merrily on. The quest of US Global Hegemony will continue. And I fear the liberties and the privacies of ordinary US citizens will continue to be suspect. Look at his appointment of Rahm Emanuel as Chief of Staff. Who is this guy? His father has this to say: In an interview with Ma'ariv, Emanuel's father, Dr. Benjamin Emanuel, said he was convinced that his son's appointment would be good for Israel. "Obviously he will influence the president to be pro-Israel," he was quoted as saying. "Why wouldn't he be? What is he, an Arab? He's not going to clean the floors of the White House."
The older Emanuel, a pediatrician born in Jerusalem, was a member of Irgun, the hard-line militant group which fought for Jewish independence until 1948. In other words, his father was involved in the slaughter of Palestinians to make way for the Zionist State. It was described as "terrorist" at the time by Britain. People in the US may not care much about this past history, but young Arabs who are prone to strapping explosives to themselves are. It is a fact that the Obama campaign spent $1 billion dollars. Word is it was collected over the Internet, and other avenues. Am I to believe that average American families sent Obama money when they can't even pay their mortgages, pay for gas, or food? We all know damn well where this money came from. Another Obama advisor is Dennis Ross. Read the profile of this neo-conservative. Change people? I won't be ranting about this here after. I have made my point. My research is impeccable. Actions speak louder than words anyway, so if the country wants to continue squat over with it's head buried in the sand, so be it. I have separated myself from this mentality. One last tidbit of information. The Bipartisan Policy Center recently published this report on October 23, 2008 - “Stopping a Nuclear Tehran.” This report amounts to a roadmap to war with Iran. So what is it going to be? Euphoria will soon vanish as the hard, cold realities of how deeply we have sunk into the financial abyss sets in. No one can fix this economy. The debt load this nation is carrying is so great it would take a century of making monthly payments to even start making some headway. The only solution I can see is to declare bankruptcy and start over. I would not want to be in Obama's shoes. Will the neo-conservative agenda change? This remains to be seen. I am afraid that the mentality of US sole-superpower status is engrained into the body politic. The more things change, the more they stay the same. I have made a decision to teach myself the Linux OS and take the Linux+ Certification test. I have always downgraded myself on the fact I do not have saleable skills. I did learn to deal a number of casino table games. I not only learned this skill, I excelled. I was an expert and a professional. Other than this, I do not have anything to fall back on and am lucky to be earning the hourly wage I am, doing the tasks I do. But I refuse to live out the rest of my days being a grocery grunt. I have a fantastic collection of books that will teach me everything I need to know about the UNIX/Linux operating systems. I will be able to configure, administer, create firewalls and supervise security of the system. I will be able to network and work with servers. I will not be working where I presently am one year from now. This is a given. Once I get this Linux+ Certification under my belt, I will continue learning data base systems like MySQL/PHP. I will even familiarize myself with data mining and the mathematics of database professionals. The heights I can reach are only limited by my imagination and the will to overcome the obstacles. I will not turn my back on finisihng the book either. There is no way in hell I will give up on this dream. This is what I want to do. Just came home from Best Buy. I purchased a MS PRO 4 Gigabyte stick. I am presently uploading my most important collection of .pdf files and other documents on to it. It cost me $50 but well worth it. This collection of books has taken a great deal of time and energy to gather. The cost is worth it. I do have an external hard drive with the entire collection on it also, so this backup is a third source. It may be redundant, but I am not taking any chances on loosing this information. I am off till tomorrow afternoon. I have to clock in at 3PM, and work till 9PM. The poison ivy is defiantly subsiding. I have been taking a high dosage of echinacea. I think it finally kicked this rash in the ass.

The Presidential Election is tomorrow, and the people of the US are embracing hope that things will change for the better once Obama or McCain take office. I do not share this hope. My research and my intelligence tells me otherwise. I have said this before, I will say it again, "I refuse to be made a fool." The neo-conservative NWO clique that has poisoned the average citizens ability to think for themselves are not going to fade into the sunset come November 5. Their influence and political stranglehold on the reins of power are as firm as ever. Here is a fine example of why this is true.
The former Deputy Defense Secretary, Paul Wolfowitz, is still in a position of power and influence when it comes to shaping US foreign policy. The United States needs new weapon systems, including missile defenses and other advanced military capabilities, to deter and counter China's steady buildup of nuclear and conventional arms, according to a draft internal report by a State Department advisory board.
U.S. defense policy has stressed missile defenses against Iran and North Korea. The report, by the Secretary of State's International Security Advisory Board (ISAB), which Paul Wolfowitz heads, is the first to recommend such defenses against China, including technology in space.
"Using superior U.S. military technical capacities, the United States should undertake the development of new weapons, sensors, communications, and other programs and tactics to convince China that it will not be able to overcome the U.S. militarily," the report said. Read the article

I am still plagued by the ivy blotches, but I do believe it is subsiding. It itches like crazy, but I am leaving it alone.
Regardless of my present physical condition, I have to start somewhere to get on track, and starting where I am is the only logical point. I am ashamed at the tools I have in the box and am not using. Story of my life. I will say this. I am confronting my weaknesses. A rejuvenation of my passion is essential. The remainder of my life here as it is must be dedicated to that end. I can't continue forward without it. Without my spark, I am nothing more than a zombie. I know I have had it in the past. I still can feel the heat of a burning ember. Time to build on that.
