I have been harsh on my fellow human beings these past couple of days. I have had to stop and reflect on where this began. What went wrong in this country? That is a big question. I can narrow it down to this; the fish stinks from the head down. The Truth has raised it's ugly head for all to see. It has raised it for all the world to see. The president of this country is a fool. He let COVID-19 run rampant because he didn't want it to make HIM look bad. He left us ALL to rot regardless of what color our skin is. When the shit hit the fan and Trump was told that 1-2 million people were going to die if he didn't pull his head out of his ass, he followed suit with the rest of the civilized world that were actually trying to protect the lives of it's citizens. He had to close down the country. Now, 40 million people are out of work.
100,000 people are dead. 1.5 million people are sick with COVID-19 and the number of infected is rising. Even the effort Trump finally made was pathetic. According to the Donald he is a genius who saw the pandemic coming and he saved millions of lives. When white supremacist Nazi scum marched on the Michigan State Capital with long rifles demanding that the governor rescind stay at home orders, orders put in place to stop this virus from further spread, the president told the governor to give them what they want. These people were MAGA people. They were exercising their Constitutional Rights. They were helping Donald Trump Make America Great Again. They wanted to go back to work and get the economy running like a well oiled machine. They were patriots. They were morons. The governor did what Trump wanted and now the virus is killing more people in Michigan. It didn't surprise me to see the people in Wisconsin make the same demands. I grew up in the state. Ignorance is a badge of honor. The state opened up and more people in Wisconsin are dying. This scenario is being played over and over, state to state. This is the present situation in the United States regarding COVID-19. There is no national leadership.
Add to this background the killing of a black man by a white police officer in Minneapolis. No charges were brought for days against the officer who held his knee on the neck of this man laying face down on the ground. Two other officers also held Groege Floyd down. One stood watch. Trump said nothing. People took to the streets. Crazy white trash and the getto brothers posted selfies on Instagram and YouTube while they destroyed puplic and personel property. I do believe that anarchist, white supremacist, and other scum are taking advantage of the
murder of George Floyd to push their agendas. This is what happens when the social order breaks down. An opportunity is provided for the scum of the Earth to do what they do best, destroy anything good and decent they can get their hands on. Trump was at the launch of the Space X rocket. This was a nice photo opportunity for him. This launch proves just how great Donald Trump is. If you belive there is anything wrong in America, you are peddling fake news. A reporter at the launch asked Trump what he thought of the chaos gripping the Nation. Trump said that MAGA was coming to Washington DC and they were going to stage their own demonstration. This would fix everything because, "MAGA loves the black people."
Trump's economic recovery isn't going to happen. The infrastructure needed to rebuild the economy has been burnt to the ground. Now what?
Donald Trump is leading by example. It is every man for himself. When it comes to the president, this means it is all about Donald Trump.
The only thing Trump has done for the American people is toss us into a ditch and leave us for dead.
We are in deep trouble and the end is not in sight. I'll be lucky if I manage to keep myself alive and well in the foreseeable future. That is the game plan. How sad is that?

Just wanted to make a note here. I turned the tube back on. I don't really want to watch it but I must. This is history. I am watching a way of life I grew up with, a way of life that was the envy of the rest of the world for so many years, disintegrate before my eyes. MNBC reports that president Trump was whisked into an underground bunker below the White House. That is his response. He is cowering in a corner somewhere when he should be leading this troubled nation. He isn't alone. NO Senators or House Representatives are appearing on television to provide leadership. No words are calling for calm, for reason. Are they being directed not to provide this? My gut is telling me to look at the Big Picture. This silence has to be an orchestrated event. To what end remains to be seen. I can understand Trump not giving a damn, but not the entire elected representatives of the federal government. The silence speaks volumes.
I turned on the television this morning. Former NBA player Royce White was in the national spot light being touted as a hero.
This beautiful human being is organizing peaceful protests in Minneapolis. This is what he had to say to all his 'white brothers', " ... you say you love me. If you aren't standing besides me, your love doesn't mean shit." Isn't that special?
I'll give him the benefit of a doubt that he is trying to help calm all the crazy white trash and the getto brothers posting selfies on Instagram and YouTube while they destroy puplic and personel property. This message is too complex for these monkeys to comprehend. What it will translate down to is, "you need to give me what I want, or I will kill you." I turned the tube off and I am afaid it will have to stay off for the time being. I turned it off for seven years once. I have the Internet. I can get all the important information I need and filter out the bullshit.

I do believe what people in Minneapolis are saying. I do believe that anarchist, white supremacist, and other scum are taking advantage of the

At the end of the day, it is all about them. I can't believe it, but a small group of protesters just marched past the hotel I am living in shouting, "black lives matter!". That's all we need. I respect what they are saying, but let us be clear. Black and white people get along well here in Dubuque. There is no reason to start burning Dubuque to the ground.

It was just a few days ago that Twitter actually 'flagged' a comment the president posted, saying it was not 'factually' true. Just this morning, the president threatened to shoot looters in Minneapolis. The Tweet was flagged by Twitter as "glorifying violence";

A CNN news reporter and his crew were arrested earlier this morning on national television. The state patrol had cleared an area of unrest. No other people were around. The CNN employees identified themselves. They showed credentials. The CNN lead reporter is a black man. Is this an example of white on black racism? Can any of us forget the horror of watching a police officer with his knee on a man's neck for eight minutes slowly killing this person? The officer is white. The victim laying on the ground dying was black.
What is going to happen when State Authority runs out of black people to kill?
They will come after hispanics and whites, and anything else that moves.

I am watching the Governor of Minnesota grovel to his constituents and the nation regarding the atrocities that have happened on his watch the past two days. The solution to the shame that has engulfed the state of Minnesota will be overcome. All parties involved will sit around the camp fire, toast marshmallows, and sing in one voice, "we shall overcome some day ..." No charges have been brought against the policeman that killed George Floyd at this time, or the other police officers who stood and watched it happen and did nothing to stop it.

Minneapolis issued a curfew to begin now. It doesn't look like everyone is going to respect it. The police are firing canisters of tear gas into crowds of people. Large crowds of people are gathering in Atlanta a few blocks from CNN headquarters. A police car was set on fire. 3rd degree murder charges were made earlier this afternoon against the police officer who refused to remove his knee from the neck of Floyd. New information is saying Floyd had no pulse for almost three minutes and this officer never removed his knee. People are NOT satisfied with the charge of 3rd degree murder and manslaughter. Trump didn't help matters either. He did not even mention Floyd or Minneapolis today. CNN was expecting a press conference. All Trump did was make a statement that he was going to kick China's ass and walk away. BREAKING NEWS -- Protesters are trying to damage CNN headquarters. Rocks are being tossed at windows and police protecting the building. A CNN reproter says he was shot with a BB-gun. Some white dude with a skateboard is beating on a large section of glassed enclosure. When this section of glass is breached, all hell is going to break loose. It looks like the white dude has cut
his hand; genius at work. It won't be long before the police start cracking heads.
So much spam is hitting the fan, I can't begin to keep up with it. I have chosen not to.
I am still holed up in my room and I am fine with it. I have not had any overwhelming feelings to wrap myself in an American flag and proclaim to the world that my Constitutional Rights are being violated. I have not had any ideas of arming myself with a long rifle and marching down to the state capital to threaten law makers. I am not prepared to inhale Lysol to Help Make America Great Again. I will not stick my head into my ass and pretend that the President of the United States is doing a "great job" on his handling of COVID-19 in this country.
What was done is a joke. It was a blatant political stunt to fool the American public that Donald Trump had everything under control and that American was, and is, greater than ever thanks to Donald Trump. The death toll in the US is now over 100,000, and counting. States are telling people it is safe to run loose and forget about this fake news conspiracy concocted by anyone who says Donald Trump doesn't give a shit about anyone or anything except Donald Trump. The entire COVID-19 response by the White House was a coordinated effort to use this pandemic and the fears associated with it, to their own ends; the re-election of Donald Trump.
The road we are marching down is a dark one. The Democrats have NOT presented me with a choice for a viable candidate to replace Trump. I will not deny that Joe Biden has served this country. I do not look to him as an example of a great man. I think he is a scoundrel. I think he molested women. I believe his main agenda during his political career was to stuff as much money and power into his pockets as possible. Joe Biden does not have the physical or the mental strength to be President of the United States. My only conclusion is that the Democratic Party have some 'end around plan' in place to quickly replace Joe Biden, if by a miracle, the American voters buy what the Democrats are selling, and elect him this November 2020. I have seen Biden on the television these past couple weeks after what is a questionable hiatus from the public view. It is obvious he is struggling to answer any questions that are asked of him. He can't remember the question and he can't concentrate long enough to know what he said minutes before.
We are in serious trouble. I am going to try and accomplish some things that are important to me. That doesn't include making sense of the crisis this country has found itself in and the inability to get ourselves out of it. I will leave that to others. I apologise for my apathy. I will be 65 August 10, 2020. I don't think it is totally selfish to think about myself with what ever time I may have left.
My lungs are hanging by a thread, just like they have always been hanging. It is a miracle I have made it this far.

175,000 people have recovered. The recovery rate is 13.85% so far. States are re-opening for business.
They are under pressure from Trump to do so. They are making a huge mistake. Ofcourse, it is only a mistake if you value the life of a human being. In the present political atmosphere we are being told, in no uncertain words, that it is our patriotic duty to risk our lifes for the sake of re-starting the economy.
Iowans are being forced to return to the meat packing plants. They are being assured that precautions are being put into place. I would find this hard to believe. When COVID-19 started sweeping through the plants in Iowa, the workers requested protective gear to wear while working. They were told there wasn't any. Now, they must return to work or lose their unemployment benefits.
They have no choice. The two meat packing plants in Iowa are slaughtering more than just hogs. You don't believe that Fascism has reared it's ugly head? Are you afraid to see the Truth staring you right in the eye? If 1,000,000 American lives, or more, have to be sacrificed in order for Donald Trump to be re-elected to a second term, than that is what Donald Trump wants. You think he gives a rat's ass about you dying for him? Wake up people.
The daily news does nothing but repeat itself. I can continue posting news stories that support the presidential indifference to American lives.
I choose not to. I will not beat a dead horse. If my fellow citizens wish to wallow in darkness, I will not drag them out into the light. We all have access to the news. I will sit tight in my room for the remainder of 2020 if that what it takes to stay healthy. I have enough food to eat for the next several months. I am hoping for a miracle. I am not counting on one.

Young and middle-aged people, barely sick with Covid-19, are dying of strokes.
Doctors are sounding an alarm about patients in their 30s and 40s left debilitated or dead. Some didn't even know they were infected. Trump says "there'll be more death" from coronavirus, but reopening is worth it. According to the President, not reopening businesses also costs people their lives, in the form of drug overdoses and suicides.
These reports do not sit well with the president, so they are dismissed as "fake news". Reports that men, women, and children are bring crippled and left for dead is nothing but a pack of lies being spread by "do nothing Democrats'" It is a plot to stop Donald Trump from being elected to a second term of office.

Bashayd Breeland is reportedly facing multiple misdemeanor charges that consist of resisting arrest, the transport of alcohol in motor vehicle with a broken seal, open container of beer or wine in motor vehicle, possession of 28 grams or less of marijuana or 10 grams of hash and driving without a license.
Breeland's attorneys said on Wednesday that they planned to investigate "why this level of force was necessary."
I am not an attorney, but what level of force is appropriate? This man was driving under the influence of drugs. An officer of the law apparently saw Brendan smoking a joint while he was pumping gas into his vehicle. He investigated this. That is what he is paid to do. A driver is potentially putting other lives at risk. The officer has a responsibility to prevent this, if possible. Breeland laid his hands on the officer. He pushed him. Breeland can be heard yelling, "I didn't do anything wrong. Let me go. You let other people go." What other people are those? Is he insinuating police brutality? Is he implying racism? The attorney must be referring the to the level of force that was supposed to be used when confronting an NFL football player. That level of force would be to walk up to him and say, "have a nice day".
How long is the NFL going to allow this kind of behavior in it's ranks? When the COVID-19 crisis is under control and the NFL gets back into business, don't be surprised if people find other things to do. I'm tired of watching self righteous, privileged primadonnas strut around thinking that law abiding people are beneath them.
People wagged their heads wondering why Aaron Hernandez end up in prison. He killed people. He killed people because he believed he was above the law. He had athletic talent that had great potential to put truck loads of money into other peoples pockets. All of these NFL players do. The more talent they have, the more they are allowed to flaunt the laws that other people must obey. When they are convicted, they are often slapped on the wrist. They don't go to jail, unless they kill someone; maybe. This slap on the wrist mentality is just another affirmation that they can do what ever they please.
The NFL needs to start barring for life any player that behaves like Bashayd Breeland. Until this happens, the list of current NFL players thumbing their noses at the law will continue. Current and former NFL players will continue killing people. Do a simple Google search. Wake up NFL!
