The month is coming to a close. The nonsense in Washington continues to parade across the world stage. I can't keep up with it. It does no use. Nothing will change here in Dubuque, unless a nuclear bomb goes off somewhere. I just have to keep my head down and pretend that I don't care, even though I do.

My full time concern at the moment is getting through six more months of working in a hostile work environment with out beating the shit out of someone.

Looks like Papa Joe got caught with his hand in the cookie jar. Documents with 'classified markings' have been found in an office he used and also in his garage at home. Here is a video of Biden addressing this with reporters:



The man is looking at a written document right in front of him and he can't even read it without loosing track of what he is looking at. It makes me shudder to think this man is leading the 'Free World.' One thing we all can take comfort in. This garage where the documents were located were in a locked garage. This garage is where Biden keeps his Corvette, so if there were any classified materials in it, they were safe. Hell, they were just as safe in the garage as they would be at the National Archives. I wonder if the Agents looking through the garage thought to check the glove box.

Doing some minor updates. Since I am here I may as well post something. One last push. This has become my new mantra. I should say, I have added it to the the other ... run silent, run deep. Where that last push is aiming is fluid. That is why I have adopted it. It covers ground. It is elegant. If I can manage to keep sane and follow the road map, I will be living a new life come August. I may have to pound out 2023 punching the time clock. That would be the wise move. Doing what is wise hasn't been a strong point in my approach to Life. Old dogs can learn new tricks. Either way, the light is at the end of this long tunnel. I'll get there.

I will always give credit where credit is due. I don't have to be a fan of the person receiving it. Trump insisted that the classified documents he had in his possession were his. This has been a recurring theme of Donald Trump's life. If he doesn't get what he wants, he throws a temper tantrum. The January 6th Committee has proven this. I know Papa Joe is dirty. I said long before he was elected President that the only thing he did in the Senate for 35 years was stuff money in is pockets. He may get taken to the wood shed over this. I don't want to see him kicked out of office. I pray he lives long enough to see a new President elected, who ever it is. I do not wish to see Kamala Harris step in and finish out Biden's term.

The shit storm rages on ...

Yesterday was the two year anniversary of the riot at the Capital. A number of actors are spending long stretches in prison. A few will remain there till they die. I didn't see a great deal of press on the matter. Biden gave a speech somewhere, someplace. I would have thought this would be an opportunity to address the Nation and lay out some kind of vision for unity. I do not think Papa Joe did this.



The House of Representatives is going through one hell of a time trying to get a Speaker in place. The GOP is broken. I would think that the President would step in and help work something out. It does not matter that the GOP controls the House. Without the House in order, no legislation can pass. When asked what he thought about the fiasco going on with the failed voting for McCarthy, Papa Joe had this to say, "it isn't any of my concern." Spoken like a true statesman. Biden has a firm grasp of the political landscape.

Luckily, McCarthy did get the nod after 15 attempts. I hope this is the start of good things to come.

The hype of BTC going to the moon in 2023 is well on it's way. I like hearing this. I really don't think it will reach these levels this year:

Porn star Ron Jeremy has dementia. He will not be tried for rape. If he does not improve, there will be no trial for his alleged crimes. Because criminal proceedings are suspended as long as he is incompetent, he can not plead guilty or participate in any plea bargaining. Other measures to get justice for the victims in this case are on hold, possibly indefinitely.
