I've worked my entire life to get to this point in time.
How long any of these points lasts is a crap shoot, but that is how the bones roll.
I should be relishing this time and I have found it difficult to do so. The things I used to love
are past memories. These years since I turned 62 should be running a little more smoothly. I pissed away money
going for large pay from the high limit slots. That did not pan out well. I did stop working full time when I turned 61.
I spent a good penny the following year. I am a fool for not putting anything away.

I have had a fresh breath of air. I think I understand the problem. I will be here, doing nothing that costs money. I will lay low till May 2020. I need to get that stupid manual rolling. I don't have to stay in this poverty induced nightmare. I can earn. I just never really gave a shit. When I was 30 years younger I didn't give a damn. Working for a living was a nightmare. It wasn't a life. I am smart enough to see this is the last dash. I need to make a life for myself. I need to cherish the time I have left. How ever humble this life may be, it is mine. It has value. No one may ever know I walked the face of this Earth, but that shouldn't matter. Once, and for all, find joy in your life Jonathan. You deserve it.

Excellent interview! This is the kind of responsible analysis needed in the crypto space.
Tone Vays is that voice. These idiots on CNBS and YouTube are destoying people financially.
"A fool and his money are soon parted." Perhaps these fools deserve to get tossed into the financial scrap heap.
The information is out there. If you don't want to do the due diligence, you deserve to get taken to the cleaners.
Capital markets are the most blood thirsty institutions ever created, short of all out war.
The remark, "they aren't taking any prisoners", is said for a reason.

Someone I worked with at the Diamond Jo Casino here in Dubuqe borrowed $19,000
from his 401-k and bought XRP with it when the price was still over $1. I told him Ripple Labs and others
associated with the company were being sued for fraud. He doesn't care about the lawsuits.
He won't even acknowlege they exist. I told him not to buy anymore XRP than he already had.
He didn't listen to me. He thinks the people at Ripple Labs are gods.

Last I heard, he was selling his condo in Florida to buy more XRP with the proceeds.
All he cares about is proving to the world he is right and they are wrong. This is why the US Governemt is cracking
down on crypto in general. They are trying to protect the feeble minded from the grifters and the snake oil salesmen.

People like Tone Vays are out there. Trouble is, the people who should be listening have the I.Q. of a radish.

Welcome to my humble corner of the Internet.
Time to Blog! was born July of 2004.
The ability to express your message to the world is a great gift.
I intend to make the best of it while I can.
It has been almost 15 years since I wrote these words. The World of blogging was in it's infancy.
There was no WordPress platform. There was no Blogger. People were grinding out posts typing HTML tags as they went along. It was a crude process by today's standards, but it got the job done. In fact, it did it well.

I have not really upgraded the way I create these pages I upload to my server that appear like magic. The way I did things 15 years ago are still viable. The message gets across. The pages load quickly. The layout is clean. I don't need a monster IDE and a JavaScript framework content management system to do what I do. I don't need the latest bright and shiny tools.

I have not consistently taken advantage of opportunities to write. I have not held up this part of my mission statement.
2020 has to be a year of rebirth for Time to Blog! and a rebirth for me personally. I turn 65 in August. I have books to write that I dreamed would be written. I have articles to write. I have code to write. I don't know how much time I have to get it all done, but I will reach deep into that reservoir of strength I have always had, and I will get it done. I can't leave this world with regret. This is within my power.

I made one good decision. I walked away from the casino business. I am not working for anyone. Living is now my fulltime job.
Time to get to it. I will keep you posted.

*Note
I ran across this video I uploaded to YouTube March 11, 2013. I'm glad I watched it again.
It puts into a nutshell many of the things I believe in. I am not a great many things,
but I am consistent. When I say I am going to do something, I follow through on it -- eventually.
I did leave Wisconsin and move to Dubuque, IA. for a job. I'm still here.

The Chinese horoscope 2020 augurs for the Goat of a dynamic year, whose new perspectives do the greatest good to our acrobat, a specialist in steep flanks. This year, you want to change things in depth and it is no longer a question for you to remain passive in the face of destiny. Whether to turn a page or finally apply a new resolution, you are deeply motivated to make things evolve according to your aspirations. Especially since this year the Goat has more interest to bet on the evolutions in his work than in love or in friendship. Despite the fact that, to be even more effective, you will need encouragement in order to remain constant in the realization of your projects. Your personal satisfaction will be all the greatest that, following your sustained efforts, you will find your marks and the path to success. Remember not to overwork, because the struggles you will lead may at times be exhausting.
Looks like the stars agree with me.
