I am still accessing the Internet at the Library. I intend to get my phone to tablet jacked connection set up. I will get it done soon. I will need to be hooked in to the Internet to bet on Baseball.

I also intend to make comments and rant on what is happening on the global stage. I know I am jousting with windmills, but that is what Time to Blog! is all about. I know I can't change anything. I am not one of those people. They exist. The world needs them as a balancing force to curb the excesses of corruption.

I will do what I do best. Create this archive for future research and preserve information from this time. I hope it accomplished some good someday.

I want to tell you a story of two men. One was a quiet, unassuming mentally challenged individual. The other is a pathetic little man who sits on a pedestal boasting of his greatness.

Barry lived at the Canfield Hotel for some time. He would stand outside the front door and watch people going to and from a family restaurant across the street. He was unable to express himself with clarity. His mind was a whirlwind of thoughts and ideas that he was unable to focus on. When I spoke to him, he would mumble or talk what sounded like gibberish. As I got to know him, I realized when Barry was able to speak, he was talking about 12 different things all at the same time. If I was able to help him focus on just one thought, he could speak about it with eloquence. Barry was intelligent. He had an excellent vocabulary and command of the English language.

Barry had to live in a shelter for a week or so because of the Canfield Hotel fire. When the second floor of the Hotel was re-opened, Barry moved back into a room he was renting there. He died suddenly a week later. They found him dead in his room.

The owner of the Hotel, Robert Klauer, is a former attorney and judge. He has wealth and social status in the city of Dubuque. From what I understand, he stabbed anyone and everyone he ever knew or came into contact with in the back. The Hotel he owns is a shit hole infested with bed bugs. People stay there because they have no where else to go. Robert Klauer is a rat lord of the highest degree, feeding off the misfortunes of others.

Barry had a large stash of canned goods in his room. After his body was removed, Robert Klauer claimed the possessions in the room as his own. He loaded up the canned goods, took them to the front desk, and started selling them to residents. This is the character of Robert Klauer multi-millionaire; stealing the possessions of a dead man and selling them to line his own pockets with a few more dollars.

The world was a better place with Barry in it. He was a kind and decent human being. The world is worse off with slum lords and scum like Robert Klauer in it. The wicked continue to flourish as the rightous suffer.

Barry is on the right in the picture below.

I am not posting my comments or thoughts about what is happening on the world political or social stage. I know this has been my intent for some time now. My opinion is well documented here. The world will continue to revolve regardless of what I think or say. I will get around to posting my regular rants and dismays, but not for the time being. I am making a home for myself at my new address. I should have gotten out of that shit hole I was living in a long time ago. If I had a backbone, I'd sue that fucking rat lord Hotel owner. He is a big shit in the town and I doubt if anyone really gives a damn about the people he has screwed over. The town never did when he was a hot shot city lawyer, or former judge. The option to teach this prick some humility is still on the table.
