This photo provided by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department shows Ammar Harris in a booking photo from a 2012 arrest in Las Vegas. Police have identified Harris as a suspect in a shooting that sent a Maserati into a taxi that exploded, killing three people on Feb. 21, 2013 in Las Vegas. Harris was arrested last year on pandering, kidnapping, sexual assault and coercion charges. The disposition of that case was not immediately known.

In other words, the wheels of justice are still spinning going no where fast. The legal/human rights of a Vegas street walker don't add up to a hill of beans. It doesn't seem to matter that criminal scum is running amok in Las Vegas. It was when I was living there 12 years ago. As long as information of this sort is safely buried and unreported, and the money continues to flow to the casinos, everything is beautiful in Sin City. Truth eventually raises it's ugly head and the facts long buried surface. This is the bottom line concerning the shooting that took place at the corner of Las Vegas Blvd and Flamingo Road.

For what it is worth, I deleted the majority of my videos on YouTube. No one watches them anyway, and I know it is best to leave a smaller Internet footprint. I have made Tweets saying it is best not to say anything that will come back to haunt you later. People have lost jobs and careers have been damaged because of things said on the Internet. I have been non-political on my Twitter account. I use it to stay abreast of the IT industry. This blog is another thing all together. I have let my nuts hang out here on the chopping block for a very long time. I started this blog before Twitter or Facebook existed. I know it is not in my best interests to be saying what I think but I do and I will continue to do so here in this corner of the World Wide Web. The spirit that moved me to start this in the first place still burns.

Time To Blog!

Welcome to my humble corner of the Internet.
Time to Blog! was born July of 2004.
It has taken many turns and twists since then.
Along the way I tried to keep the intent of why
I started this Blog consistent; to provide you with a place
to find information you might not easily stumble across elsewhere.

The trash is getting deep in cyberspace.
I want this Blog to become something more than
just a lot of bytes on an electronic page.
Having the right to speak your opinion is
fundamental to our liberty. The right to form your own
opinion is yours. The choice to march to
the sound of your own drum is the first step
of a greater journey.

Seriously, God bless America.
If we loose the right to express ourselves,
we might as well let Al Qaeda start collecting Social Security.
In the meantime, enjoy my ranting, and my proclivities.
The ability to express your message to the world is a great gift.

I intend to make the best of it while I can.

One last mention of the Christopher Dorner media circus. I thought I remembered hearing a report on CNN that his wallet had been found before the San Bernardino barbeque ever took place. I did some digging and sure enough, there were stories in the news that this was the case ...

USA Today reported that Chris Dorner's wallet was miraculously found within the charred remains of the cabin that he had been hiding out in. However, Chris Dorner’s wallet was also found near the Mexican border, according to a story in the LA Times.

First, from USAToday:

Investigators were picking through the rubble of a burned-out cabin in California’s San Bernardino Mountains on Wednesday, trying to piece together details of the violent last stand for a fugitive former Los Angeles police officer whose life apparently ended hours earlier in a barrage of bullets and blazing fire. The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Office said charred human remains were found in the rubble where Christopher Dorner is said to have been cornered Tuesday. "We have reason to believe that it is him," sheriff’s spokeswoman Cynthia Bachman said. A wallet with a California driver’s license bearing the name Christopher Dorner also was found, the Associated Press reported, citing a law enforcement official who was briefed on the investigation but declined to be named because of the ongoing probe.

So, they’ve found Chris Dorner’s wallet in the burned out cabin where they toasted him? I wonder where I can buy one of those fire proof wallets? You never know when law enforcement might decide to reduce your ass to a charred lump of smoldering flesh. I would want my relatives to know that lump of smoking debrie was me.

*Note*
This event is quite similar to the passport found in the charred rubble of the World Trade Center after 9/11.
According to ABC News and the Associated Press, the passport of hijacker Satam Al Suqami was found a few blocks from the WTC.  (intact)

Christopher Dorner’s wallet was also found in San Diego. From the LA Times story:

Dorner allegedly attempted to steal a boat in San Diego and, after subduing the captain, said he was taking the vessel to Mexico, according to an affidavit filed with a criminal complaint in federal court in Los Angeles. Dorner is accused of telling the captain that he could recover his boat in Mexico. The attempt failed when the bow line of the boat became caught in the boat’s propeller, and the suspect fled," according to the affidavit by inspector U.S. Marshal Craig McClusky. After authorities interviewed the boat captain early Thursday, they found Dorner’s wallet and identification cards "at the San Ysidro Point of Entry" near the U.S.-Mexico border.

The media is spewing shit at such velocity, they lost track of what they were reporting. What else is new? People, don't roll over and play dead, please. In your own mind, maintain a semblace of intellectual dignity. Perhaps we are powerless at this point in time to stand against the forces that wish to reduce us to subservient status. We have to survive. In order to survive, we might even have to lick the jackboot at our neck aka punching a time clock. Do what you have in order to live. Do what you have to in order to keep your sanity intact. If possible, remember you are a human being. You have rights. You have a mind. That mind is yours. Remember this. No one is forcing you to actually believe this nonsense we call a news media.

I feel compelled to say something about the Christopher Dorner fiasco. I am using the term fiasco because that is what it has evolved into. I want to say right up front, I do not condone what this man has done. To the so called "fanclub" of this individual, you aren't fooling anyone. You seek attention because your life has no meaning. You have accomplished nothing in your pitiful life and from the looks of things, you never will. Having said this, I want to make a few comments on the incredible sized shit the media is trying to lay on the American public.

First of all, the media should be ashamed at publishing an abridged version of the manifesto written by Dorner. This manifesto first presented was not advertized as an abridged version. Why this was done is debatable. The fact is the media blatently distorted the news and got caught red handed. They have been so complacent in spinning their manure machine, they must think they don't even have to try and craft something that resembles journalistic integrity. All they have to do is print some bull shit fabrication and the public being so brain dead won't notice. There are plenty of us who aren't close to being brain dead and we are fully aware of the transgressions being perpetrated.

I'm not going to go into any depth on the shoot out, the fire, and the subsequent barbecuing of Christopher Dorner. I will say this. Reports were made that human remains were collected at the site and tests were being conducted to determine that the remains were those of Dorner. I don't see how they could have recovered anything at the site considering the cabin he was holed up in was turned into a crematorium. A later story reported that a license plate registered to Dorner was recovered at the site and this proves that the charred human remains found were indeed those of Christopher Dorner. Lets think about that. This licence plate must have been valuable for Dorner to be carrying around. I guess he was going to put it on the next vehicle he stole. I think the media has fallen victim to it's own propaganda. People making executive decisions on what information needs to be manufactured and released are eating the shit they are selling. Their heads have been up their own asses for so long their brains have died of consumption. I am certain people are talking to their friends and they are repeating this nonsense. They found this license plate and sure enough, this proves the remains are his.

We are in big trouble. The United States of America at one time commendeered an intellect. We were a nation of educated people. We have degnerated into a nation of fools who are standing waist deep in shit playing with our cell phones. It pains me to see it.

*Update*

I swear I heard this story on the news that a license plate registered to Dorner was found in the burned out cabin. This just in ...
BIG BEAR LAKE, Calif. (AP) -- An official briefed on the investigation tells The Associated Press that a wallet with a California driver's license with the name Christopher Dorner has been found in the rubble of a cabin.

When does this end?

I'm using a different HTML editor to write today's dribble. I have had this one installed on my machine but never got in to it. Many people swear by it, being one of the "better" free utilities out there. The editor I'm using today is Notepad ++. I think I might have to explore this baby further. It has all the bells and whistles. As far as using an editor to produce something production quality, I'll stick to Sublimetext 2, WebMatrix 2, or Aptana Studio 3. All of these are free and they do kick some nice ass. Microsoft Visual Web Developer 2010 Express is also high on my personal list for editors to use if I ever get around to producing a full blown HTML5 - CSS3 - JavaScript enhanced web site. The reason I have always used this other editor all these years was this -- it has a spell checker. I just installed a spell checker here and it is working. Damn, I'm good! I haven't attained geek status yet, but I'm getting there.

I got up early yesterday and ventured out in to the real world to take a Wisconsin Civil Service Exam. It was free. The exam is called "Office Support Exam". It had three levels to choose from. There was the entrance level, the intermediate level, and the advanced level. If you do well on all three sections, you have a better chance of landing a job because the number of choices available increases. I did well. The first part was fairly easy. If you managed to get past the first grade, you could score well on this portion of the exam. The intermediate level wasn't all that tough either. The advanced portion wasn't anything to fret about. I took the exam just to flesh out my resume. I applied for a State position and I am hoping to get an interview. I'm qualified. The position has a catchy little title; Unemployment Compensation Associate 2. It pays $13.968 an hour. I can live with that. It is full time. There are benefits. Sure beats what I have now -- squat. Will have to wait around two weeks to get my test score results back. I really don't know how long it will take to find out if I make the interview list for this position. My plans are to get a job with the State of Wisconsin before this contract outfit I'm working for now gets the plug pulled on this current contract they have. Come July, all Remedy employees working in their current State positions won't have them. If you have to stay with Remedy, you will have to settle for whatever they can dig up for you and that could be distasteful. I hate the thought of going back to working in the Walgreen Distribution pit; not that they would let me back. I was to sophisticated for the hillbilly rabble. Seeing how a real human being has evolved was cutting too close to the bone of reality for most of them. Their only recourse was to despise me. That is what lies in store for those Remedy employees who won't have their cushy State positions. They will have to wallow in the manure with swine. I won't go that route again. If I am unable to get something going with the State by the time this contract gets yanked, I will pack up and head to Colorado.

I do like this Notepad ++ editor. Looks like I will be using it for my personal site.

I do like Ted. He might be putting on a show at times but he is saying the same things I have been saying. I hate to think about what is coming down the pipe but I do and I am prepared to end up in the gutter if that is what will be. I won't like it but I'm not living in denial. That is why I like this crazy bastard. He hates seeing the shit pile up as much as I do.

Good to see Ron Jeremy conscious. He doesn't look all that great but he is alive and kicking. He doesn't know anything else.
Go Ron. Keep fighting.

February 3, 2013

I sometimes wonder why I am still posting material here. I know it is not in my best interest to be saying what it is I really think. This is synonymous with handing someone the knife. You read about people getting fired from their jobs for posting something on their Twitter or Facebook accounts. I ask myself, since when is it corporate America's business what you might be thinking about outside of work, but then again, the fact that they are concerned and have the power to take your income away speaks volumes on what the hell is going on in this present time. But here I am, still jabbering away about the march towards fascism, the ignorance of the great unwashed, and the state of my personal struggle to create meaning and self worth despite this.

I want to preserve, if possible, some sort of record that might be accessed in the distant future. Archeologist have searched for records from our own ancient past. Clay tablets have been unearthed. They didn't hold any great secret. These tablets were grocery lists and other mundane trivial nonsense. Still, they paint a picture of what life was like 3,000 years ago. I would like to think that my ranting is similar to these clay tablets. I find solace in the thought that perhaps in the distant future, someone like myself is asking questions on what the fuck happened. How did his society get to the place it is at? I would like to tell this person we all were not brain dead in 2013. We watched in horror as the way of life we cherished slipped through our fingers and that we were powerless to stop the psychopaths from destroying the freedom we once took for granted.

CBS is live streaming Super Bowl XLVII. I might as well watch it. I do enjoy sport and the Superbowl has been something I've looked forward to seeing. It reminds me of the good times in Vegas. Football season was the best of times out there and Super bowl Sunday was the cherry on the sunday. It usually panned out being a decent payday too as far as tokes were concerned. Making money is always a good thing.

As far as I know, Ron Jeremy is still kicking. Keep fighting man. People have been shitting on you forever. It didn't stop you from doing what you set out to do. You are a self made man. I respect that.

Note
Looking at some live Super Bowl Tweets. I like these two:
Beyonce has to be on the deer antler juice too!
Looks like Beyonce is making a better effort than Randy Moss.
