Just a quick update on where I am living. I moved into the one bedroom apartnment December 17. I have it furnished. It is everything I could hope for. I will go into detail on what shit went down at the Canfield while I was trying to move my personal property out. A lawsuit will be forthcoming. For now, I am just trying to get settled in and get all my billing obligations set up. I can't believe how drastically my life has changed since the Canfield fire Wednesday December 8th. Change is something I have always avoided. I realize now that getting too comfortable can bring on laziness, and in turn, make you stupid.

I really don't know what to say about this. If it wasn't for the Canfield Hotel, I would not have had a place to live when I came to Dubuque, Iowa to work at the Diamond Jo. I have mixed feelings. The nostalgia part is good. It was quiet. No one bothered me. It was cheap on the pocket book. It was five minutes to work. Other than that, the place was further skidding into a shit hole by the day. COVID-19 brought a distraught, poor, downtrodden group of people out of the cold and into the place.
This fire was an accident waiting to happen. As much as I hate change, change is what I have and in the grander scheme of things, it is what I needed. I am living in a co-worker's bedroom. It takes a good man to offer his home to a stranger. I have my hooks on an apartment. If all the paper work flies through I should be in it by Wednesday. It is unfurnished but it is home. I can get my things off the fifth floor and get the hell out. The one bedroom apartment I hope to move into is six blocks past the Canfield. I can still walk to work for the moment, and buy a car this Spring. I was going over The financial plans I made for 2022. They are no different with this living arrangement than it was when I planned them at the hotel room.
I was comfortable before this fire. I can learn to be comfortable living a better life in these new digs.
No matter what I plan to do, I still have to deal with the "potentials dangers" that I have no control over that want to cut my balls off; war, famine, disease, the economy. As long as people aren't dropping dead where they stand, the US isn't going to self implode. That option isn't off the table. It isn't just about the United States. This civilization we are presently living in is a global configuration.

In the past 30 minutes, I have had an annoying case of diarrhea. I don't feel sick. Maybe I ate something that my bowels don't agree with. I hope it clears up soon. I have to work tonight. I do not want to call in and go through the process of not being able to come back until I get tested for COVID-19. I suspect every Table Games Dealer in the entire casino, if tested, would produce a positive response. The infection rate of the general population in Dubuque is 22.5% The casinos in this town have no business remaining open with an infection rate that high. A general lock down is not out of the question but it isn't going to happen. As I write, I am feeling better. I won't eat or drink anything for the next few hours and see how it goes. I have to get some sleep before 7 PM or I won't make it through my shift.

This is disturbing. Did the two shot vaccination and the 3rd booster create the situation where the symptoms were mild? Were the symptoms mild because this is the nature of the Omicron variant? Do the vaccinations this man received have anything to do with this new variant at all? We don't know and if someone higher up the food chain knows, they aren't telling anyone. This I know. This Omicron variant is in Dubuque if it is in Wisconsin. Why? Because the people of Wisconsin are coming to the casinos here in town to gamble on the week-ends. It is almost a 100% certainty I was exposed to this variant tonight and last night. I am too old for this nonsense.

Speaking of the end being near. Ron Jeremy is dying. The evidence against him is substantial. No one can argue that it isn't. Does that give the State of California the right to keep him in jail without bond? I don't think it does. Ron Jeremy has been sentenced to death. The penalties for the crimes he has been charged with call for life in prison. What is being done to him is a miscarriage of justice. I say this as a private citizen who has little to no power over what the State can decide to do with me. If Ron Jeremy can be tossed in jail to die without a trial, we all can. This is the issue I am raising. If the State of California wants to throw Ron Jeremy into a pit never to see the light of day after he is convicted, I will shed no tears. What is happening to him now is something I would expect to see in a totalitarian state of government like China or some South American dictatorship.

If you knew your son was a nutjob, why didn't you drive him to an Institution to get the help you say he so desperately needed? I fail to see how society is to blame. The system isn't broken. If you want to roll up your sleeves and get busy, that would be a good start. The first thing you need to do is pull your head out of your ass, and realize your son is a psyco killer who murdered women and children.
