Just a quick post for the end of what was a quick year. 2019 was nothing but a blur to me. "Life is the flicker of a firefly."
The global economy is not working. When the wealthy acquire and hoard all that exists, the rest of us suffer.
It's obvious. Look at the unrest erupting in South America and in parts of Asia. The United States and Northern Europe are hanging
by their fingernails. News on the economies of Italy, Spain, and Greece were dire not too long ago, and now I don't see any reports
on them. Eastern Europe doesn't even get a news byte. Ukraine is in the news because of Trump, but other than that, I don't know how the people living there are doing. I suspect they are living in shacks, fighting to stay alive just one more day.
As 2019 comes to a close, I am grateful I have a clean room to live in. It is well heated. It is peaceful.
I get enough money from Social Security to pay for it. I can afford to eat well. I no longer have to endure the nightmare
of working for a living. I have my health. It is my responsibility to keep my lungs working to their full potential.
They may be shot, but they always have been. I never let it stop me from being active. The year 2020 has to be one of rebirth and creativity.
It must be a year of action. Despite what is happening in this crazy world, I am the master of my own personal Destiny.
My best days are before me.
I am pleased to see the world has not gone completely insane. Maybe there is still hope that 2020 will turn out OK.
I am holding a small amount of BTC and I am really counting on a rise in the price due to the halving in May 2020.
I need the money. If society goes to hell, what difference does it make if you have money or not? The quality of what is left
of my time here on Earth is my main concern.

The legal system didn't give this woman 'a break'. They just let her fall through the cracks instead of doing the right thing.
The Law won't do crap till someone is killed, or almost killed. This is a fact.
The crime load in Iowa isn't what it is in other major crime riddled cities. There is no excuse for this.

A Des Moines woman accused of going on a racist rampage and intentionally hitting two kids with her car appeared in court Monday morning.
The preliminary hearing was suspended Monday morning after Poole’s lawyer requested a mental competency evaluation.
Attorney Matthew Sheeley told the judge he believes Poole may be incompetent to stand trial due to a mental disorder.
Judge Karen Romano agreed and granted the request. No date was immediately set for the competency hearing.
Thank God this nut job didn't seriously hurt anyone. It is a miracle.

I let this one slip past me. I have not been watching any national news broadcasts.
I have been watching a little bit of the local news reports and some agricultural telecasts.
I am tired of the "Impeachment Circus". I am tired of being lectured to and being patronized.
I still have hope for 2020. I feel I have an opportunity to set things right
in what remains of the days that are my life. It has taken me this long to get my mind to a place
where I realize some of the errors I have made in the past. I see a Path in front of me.
At this point, it is a matter of Will to do what is Right.
An Iowa woman who told police she intentionally ran over a teenager because she believed the girl
was Mexican has been charged with another hit-and-run crash that hurt a 12-year-old boy.
Nicole Franklin, who also goes by the name Nicole Poole, was charged Monday by Des Moines police
with attempted murder in connection with a Dec. 9 crash that occurred less than an hour before another crash in suburban Clive.
In the latest charge, Franklin was accused of leaving a roadway, travelling onto a sidewalk and hitting a
12-year-old boy in an apartment complex in Des Moines. The boy suffered minor injuries.
In the other incident, Franklin was charged with attempted murder after a sport utility vehicle
hit Natalia Miranda as the 14-year-old was walking to school to watch a basketball game.
Miranda suffered a concussion and severe bruising and was hospitalized for two days.
Franklin made derogatory statements about Latinos during a police interview
in which she admitted intentionally running over the teenager.
I hate to see this. I have been surfing the Internet trying to get a feel for what the public reaction
to this might be. People are very quick to categorize this woman as "pure evil" and a white racist.
Looking at this video, it's clear this woman is emotionally retarded. She needs to be locked away someplace
where she can't get behind the wheel, and run over innocent people. The prosecution is
going to burn her at the legal stake, and she hasn't got a snow ball's chance in hell of getting a 'fair' trial.
I would think that the first thing the legal system would do is get a psychological evaluation done. I don't think
she is even competent to stand trial. If this is the case, the skull jockeys can put her mind back together so she can stand trial
at a later time when she can understand the circumstances she has put herself into. Sadly, the cry's of "witch" and "burn her" are
presently louder than the voice of reason. Let's see if she is competent to stand trial first. If she isn't, she needs to get her mind
repaired so she is competent. Then, if society wants to burn her at the stake, it can do so with a clear conscience.
In regards to the Trump Impeachment, Iowa Senator Joni Ernst says she thinks it should move quickly in the Senate. She says facts in the case are scarce. Ernst says Iowans are telling her Congress needs to get to work not waste time on impeachment.
I'd like to know what Iowans are telling Joni Ernst to stop wasting time with the impeachment process. What I am hearing from Iowans is this, Joni Ernst is sucking up to the "big money" in Washington and has done little to nothing to promote the needs of working people of Iowa. Veterans are saying she turned her back on them, even though she served as an officer in the military. It is the same old story. Politicians have a first class ticket on the gravy train. They acquire power, and they wield power by using us till they are done with us.

An election watchdog is filing a complaint alleging than an outside group founded by top political aides to Iowa Sen.
Joni Ernst violated campaign finance law in its efforts improve the Republican's chance of reelection next year.
It comes after The Associated Press reported earlier this month that Ernst's work with the political nonprofit
Iowa Values to raise money and build an electoral "firewall" potentially violated campaign finance and tax law.
The complaint by the nonpartisan Campaign Legal Center requests that the Federal Election Commission launch an investigation.
An attorney represent both Ernst and Iowa Values did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

People are saying this impeachment is no big deal. Trump has said it is a joke. It isn't a joke.
Only two Presidents in the history of our country have been impeached. Andrew Johnson in 1868 and William Jefferson Clinton in 1998.
President Richard Nixon resigned before he was impeached. If he hadn't, he would have been removed from office, and he knew it.
No one is more happy than Nancy Pelosi. The way she is holding her gavel, one could gather she is thinking about how good it feels to be cracking Donald Trump's nuts. She worked hard for this moment. Trump isn't the first President to step out of line, but he got caught.
He loves to flaunt his alleged superior I.Q. I don't think he is that bright.
I stepped out of the shower today and caught a glimps of myself in a mirror. If I were covered with fur, I wouldn't look any different than an ape. I am quick to point my finger at the great horde of monkeys running lose in this society, but at the end of the day, I am no further from the cave than they are. I'm tired of watching this political circus we call a government operate. At this point, I really don't care if Trump gets impeached or not. Nothing is going to change. I watched eight years of President Obama trying to get things done, and it was the same horseshit. The Congress and the Senate have lost their compass. They have no direction. The only agenda they have is to stick more money in their already overstuffed pockets. I never trusted President Obama. I did see him trying to get things done. I'll give him that much. Trump has done nothing but shovel verbal manure.
Not a day goes by without Trump boasting of "tremendous economic growth" in the economy since he took office.
There is only one fact that matters, and that is the National Debt. These are the facts:
April 2016, debt held by the public was approximately $13.84 trillion
November 2019, debt held by the public was approximately $17.07 trillion
All this tremendous growth, if it really has happened, has not resulted in creating increased tax revenues that are earmarked to pay this debt. The debt hasn't stabilized under the Trump Administration. It has continued to run rampant.
If the tax revenue is being collected from payroll checks, it isn't being used to pay off the National Debt. Someone has to be stealing it.
If it is being collected and it isn't enough to pay the debt, then the income these new Trump jobs are producing can't amount to squat. People are working full time and living in poverty. If we didn't have credit cards, we wouldn't be buying food. This is what the Trump economic miracle has accomplished. It is a pipe dream. The only segment of the US population that has benefited from the Trump Administration is the people who have money. They are stuffing it into their pockets with both hands.

I will narrow my focus in 2020. I have to tie up some personal lose ends. That is my main concern.
The rest of the world will have to fend for itself. The geo-political situation is as bad as I have ever seen it.
We are on the brink of self destruction, and Trump is telling everyone the sky is filled with rainbows
and there is a pot of gold at the end of them for all. I am ashamed of what I am seeing. I watched monkeys parade
in and out of the local casino I worked for. They are the same fools I see on the televion set supporting Donald Trump.

I gave Trump the benefit of the doubt. I thought we needed a "businessman" behind the Oval Office.
Trump has not fixed shit, politically or economically. Trump has disappointed me. I no longer support him.
