The year comes to a close. It does not feel like New Year's Eve really. It is just another day in a long string of uneventful days. I was planning on going out tonight, but was asked to work 1/1/09. I can't turn it down considering I get paid 8 hours holiday pay, plus OT for 8 hours; a $252 day. That extra money will help pay for this computer.I am off Saturday and Sunday, so I will head out to Club Inferno for the Leather and Lace Night on Saturday. I suspect it should be a large turnout. It usually is and considering New year's Eve falls mid-week, I think many people will hold off and celebrate then. Starting 1/1/09, I will begin a year long working that will turn things around for me once and for all. No more fucking around. No more wasting time and energy. I can not and will not reveal the details of this working but I will say this; it requires a massive expenditure of energy/Will. I have failed to initialize this motion so many times, that I hang my head in shame. I am grateful I still have the opportunity to set things right.

Am getting ready to head out to McDonald's and have breakfast. I have work to do so I want to get food into my system so I can accomplish something today besides sitting on my dead ass all day. I work Tuesday/Wednesday. I have New Year's Day off, so I am thinking about going to Club Inferno. It should be interesting. Despite the adversity that 2009 will bring, I am looking forward to challenge. I have a number of resolutions that all revolve around producing/creating the life I deserve to be living. I have been down long enough. This one year can and will change my life. Once I turn things around, there is no turning back. Rest is for the weak. Peace is the refuge of the fool. That doesn't mean promoting death and destruction is the answer. Israel is on the warpath again bombing the shit out of Gaza.
The prime minister of Turkey, one of the few Muslim countries to have relations with Israel, called the air assault a "crime against humanity," and French President Nicolas Sarkozy condemned "the provocations that led to this situation as well as the disproportionate use of force." ... The carnage inflamed Arab and Muslim public opinion, setting off street protests in Arab communities in Israel and the West Bank, across the Arab world, and in some European cities ... Israel is trying to avoid civilian casualties, Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni told reporters Monday, while "Hamas is looking for children to kill." The three-day death toll rose to at least 315 by Monday morning, with some 1,400 wounded.
Israel says these actions are the result of Hamas rocket attacks. I have no way of confirming or denying these allegations. My main concern is the financial slaughter the international bankers are conducting against humanity. These crimes will go unpunished, and the those profiting from this systematic plunder of the global coffers will continue to act with impunity.

The world pays lip service to peace, but hasn't the spine to say no to those cracking the whip.

Just finished watching one of my favorite movies, A Clockwork Orange. I did a great deal of thinking today. The power of thought is everything. It is the prime mover; the eternal engine of change. It is the word made flesh. This preoccupation with destruction is a plausible reaction to the stimulus exerted, but it isn't warranted. I am at risk, but I do not need to succumb to despair. That is for the rest of the sheep. It is a matter of rising above the cacophony. If the world burns, it burns. There are those who are beyond the reach of flame and misfortune. I will be one of them. One last note. I saw that MGM casino stock was selling at $85 on 12/27/07. As of 12/27/08 it was selling at $13. MGM owns and operates several casinos in Las Vegas, plus others world wide. I find no pleasure in seeing the employees of that company have their 401k's raided and their retirement plans shattered. I got the hell out of Vegas at the right time. I am no better off financially. I did not have to work as physically hard as I do at the present, and I never realized how easy it was for me to walk into a casino and leave with a day's wage for a few minutes of calculated machinations. I miss that aspect of the city. The majority of people I know living there were self centered narcissist who didn't give a flying fuck about anyone but themselves. To the abundance of ass holes who populate the dying carcass, good riddance to you.

Come on Duke, let's go do those crimes.
Yea, you're right. Let's get sushi and not pay.

Hey Otto, what about our relationship?
Fuck that.

I have been reading that Detroit has 21% unemployment, that 1000's of homes and businesses have been abandoned, schools are closing, and convicts are requesting that they be allowed to remain in prison till the economy picks back up. In prison they have three squares, a cot, and medical insurance. On the outside they have nothing. Is this just the beginning of what our major cities will succumb too? I think it is. The only way to stop the marauding hordes in search of the resources necessary to live is a mass show of deadly force. Katrina taught us exactly what happens when the basic necessities to live become scarce. Put that perspective into a national situation. Martial law is the only solution to keep the country from totally disintegrating if it comes to that. I never thought I would live to see the entire infrastructure of social order disintegrate, but I may. I am obsessed with this scenario. I have to mentally, physically, and intellectually prepare myself. Thinking about the negative aspects of a global financial meltdown is weighing on my ability to focus on what needs to be done. I can't let this happen.

The quotes are from the 1984 movie Repo Man, a cult film directed by Alex Cox. It was produced by Jonathan Wacks and Peter McCarthy, with executive producer Michael Nesmith (former band member of the Monkeys), and stars Emilio Estevez and Harry Dean Stanton.

I need to remember that at one time, I trained with Grandmaster Dominick A. Giacobbe. During my blackbelt ceremony, he tied the belt around my waist. Regardless of the bad feelings Master Stan Smith had concerning me personally, and even to a greater extent, the unfavorable personal opinion Grandmaster Dominick A. Giacobbe may have had about me, he still acknowledged my achievment. No one gets a blackbelt from the ITO unless you have earned it. When times get tough, I have to remember this. My will and my strenghth still reside in the precepts laid down 2500 years ago with those great individuals who had the vision now called Tang Soo Do.

December 25, 2008

Today is just another day in the year 2008. "Peace on Earth" and "Goodwill to Men" are just words that perhaps in the not so distant past meant something. I was looking at the Strategic Studies Institute - War College web site.
A new report discusses the use of American troops to quell civil unrest brought about by a worsening economic crisis. It warns that the U.S. military must prepare for a “violent, strategic dislocation inside the United States” that could be provoked by “unforeseen economic collapse” or “loss of functioning political and legal order.”

Entitled “Known Unknowns: Unconventional ‘Strategic Shocks’ in Defense Strategy Development,” the report was produced by Nathan Freier, a recently retired Army lieutenant colonel who is a professor at the college — the Army’s main training institute for prospective senior officers. He writes: “To the extent events like this involve organized violence against local, state, and national authorities and exceed the capacity of the former two to restore public order and protect vulnerable populations, DoD [Department of Defense] would be required to fill the gap.”
Sen. James Inhofe of Oklahoma and Rep. Brad Sherman of California disclosed that Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson discussed a worst-case scenario as he pushed the Wall Street bailout in September, and said that scenario might even require a declaration of martial law.

Despite what President-Elect Obama tries to do to save the economy from imploding, military plans are being formulated, and have been in the works for sometime, to enforce law and order when martial law is declared. 2009 in all likely hood will be the year that the US Constitution is officially put on the back burner. I have brought attention to this martial law scenario being played out several times this year. I talked about the FDIC preparing for a run on the banks and how to handle it. I talked about US troops being re-deployed on US soil. I have talked about Presidential Executive orders being crafted that essentially stripped our constitutional rights right off the bone. I have made comments that the US Constituion is nothing more than a piece of paper that we are being told to "wipe our asses with" since that is all it is worth. These are the prospects I am pondering this Christmas day. I am still earning a weekly paycheck for the time being, but that isn't a guaranteed outcome I can count on. There is no peace. This is where my Luciferian Will dominates my perspective. No matter what happens, I need to stay focused. In crisis there is always opportunity for the elite. The herd will be culled, but that doesn't have to include me.

December 21, 2008

It is officially winter today. Looking at the reports, it is -10 with a wind chill factor of -25. It would be nice to sit here in my relatively warm apartment all day, but I have to go to work. It is the one day worth working since I receive overtime pay, but I would rather sit here just the same. I read an interesting article this morning by a man who went by the moniker Oracle of Alberta. I use the past tense here because I don't know if he is still writing. The article was originally posted August 7, 1998. His view is worth pondering, especially with the financial collapse that had dominated our daily perception. I do believe that we are being manipulated at every turn. The Meme Masters lead the herd amd the herd is oblivious. Am I better off? Sometimes I wonder. In my gut, I know it is better to see the man behind the veil even if I am powerless to remove him. I still own my mind, and this gives me some control and power to shape my Destiny. I refuse to crawl into a psychological dead zone and have my values piped through a conduit of ignorance. Even if I have to march to the sound of a corporate drum, I will do so in cognito. Found some MySQL documentation I want to snag here before I head out to work. The amount of books and reading materials I have is ridiculous. I have reached a critical pass here. I can not possibly read everything I have, so I must focus with a sharper edge just what it is I want to create with the knowledge accumulated. Simply collecting it has become redundant.

December 19, 2008

I was talking to this guy at work named Nick. He is a young dude and computer savvy. He taught himself MySQL, with the help of some friends who are knowledgeable in this area. He said if you have knowledge of SQL on a resume, people will be calling you. He is right. I downloaded a document - Global Trends 2025: A Transformed World - that was put together by the elite think tanks and global policy makers. I haven't read it, but did read an article at my favorite political news site, Global Research, called From Global Crisis to "Global Government" US Intelligence: A Review of Global Trends 2025. Excellent piece of journalism. In this article by Andrew G. Marshall he makes this observation:
It is important, when reviewing the above information provided by the report, to understand the perspective of the authors. The US intelligence community worked closely with businesses, prominent academic institutions and powerful think tanks, all of which play extremely significant roles in shaping our current world order. Thus, the perspectives outlined in the report come with an inherent bias, and so it is important to “read in between the lines.” The report does NOT state what the objectives of the US intelligence community, academic institutions, businesses or think tanks will be in this future 2025 scenario, but you can be assured that they will not play back seat roles and merely observe situations. These are among the most powerful players in the international arena, and this vision of 2025 is the world they are shaping.
In the article it said that these areas of expertise would exert influence on the future global economy - IT, nanotechnology, and biotechnology. What struck me is that Information Technology (IT) was listed first. Why IT? Knowledge of data-based systems which is SQL/ Data Mining Technology will play large in the formation of the regional government blocks that will be the foundation of the One World Government. This gives me pause to reflect on where I should put the emphasis on my computer technical studies. UNIX/Linux is good, and should be part of the overall foundation, but the core expertise should emphasis MySQL/PHP and knowledge of Data Based technologies, aka Data Mining. I have the books that will give me this technological edge. I am going to purse this area of knowledge. I will still take and pass the Linux+ Certification test, but I will also become an expert in this other area.

I saw a news article this morning about Rick Warren delivering the invocation at the Present-elect's inauguration. This was the reaction from the gay community that helped vote Obama into office:
“Your invitation to Reverend Rick Warren to deliver the invocation at your inauguration is a genuine blow to LGBT Americans,” the president of Human Rights Campaign, Joe Solomonese, wrote Obama Wednesday. “[W]e feel a deep level of disrespect when one of architects and promoters of an anti-gay agenda is given the prominence and the pulpit of your historic nomination.”…

“It’s a huge mistake,” said California gay rights activist Rick Jacobs, who chairs the state’s Courage Campaign. “He’s really the wrong person to lead the president into office.

“Can you imagine if he had a man of God doing the invocation who had deliberately said that Jews are not going to be saved and therefore should be excluded from what’s going on in America? People would be up in arms,” he said.

The editor of the Washington Blade, Kevin Naff, called the choice “Obama’s first big mistake.”
I will voice another objection to this individual's participation. If you follow Time To Blog!, you are aware of Joel's Army and the concern I expressed about Dominionism and the Rise of Christian Imperialism. Rick Warren is a prime architect of Dominionism, and a leader of this cabal of ultra-right wing evangelical snobs who intend to cram their religious views up our ass. As I mentioned earlier, Sarah Palin is devoted to creating this religious New World Order to facilitate the return of Jesus Christ. The information is right there on the WWW for anyone to examine. The gay community aren't the only ones who should be offended or concerned by Rick Warren. Many Christian, right-wing evangelical organizations have been saying for years that Dominionism and the Rise of Christian Imperialism is dangerous and against the teachings of the Bible. The Assembly of God branded this movement and those associated with it as heretics. The following article written from a Christian evangelical perspective is an eye opener ...
Dominionism and the Rise of Christian Imperialism

Here is an unusual occurrence for the day. A rare pre-winter storm brought Las Vegas its heaviest snowfall in nearly three decades, closing McCarran airport and freeways as several inches coated marquees on the Las Vegas Strip and weighed down palm trees.

6:30 PM
This just in ... I just watched an ABC News video of an interview with Marion Jones. She was recently released from prison having served a six month sentence for her involvement with BALCO. She was asked why she lied about using performance enhancing drugs. She insists she used them unkowingly. She was asked what was the reasoning behind her final admission she was involved with Victor Conte and his company BALCO then if she didn't know she was using performance enhancing drugs. She says she lied to federal prosecutors, and she realized it was best for her to come clean about that, and try to make something positive out of this so she could help people. Watching this interview made me wretch. I posted this document some time ago. You want to know what the Feds had on her? Read this ... USA vs Marion Jones

The six months time she did was nothing more than a slap on the wrist. The rich and famous continue to receive special treatment; treatment the rest of us common folk will never experience. If I had pulled the same stunt, I would never have seen the light of day for the rest of my life.

For those of you interested in Martial Arts, and especially the popular Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) it's all represented here in this video clip: Western Boxing, Muay Thai clinch, knees and elbows, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu armbars, kneebars, ankle-locks, triangles, rear naked chokes, Judo throws, Wrestling takedowns and sprawls, Tangsoodo spinning kicks, Kung Fu overhand strikes and so on... truly MMA. Enjoy the fight scene.

This is the first time I have included a clip on this site, so it is something new. With the advent of high speed connection, and the general usability of most users ( I am a late comer) it is possible to enjoy these. It is good to move forward and embrace new technology. I am also becoming better informed on the school of thought known as Transhumanism. I have a link to an excellent site on the main page (Transtopia), and from this site you can navigate to other highly educational and cutting edge white papers. I did some searching tonight and found a paper published by The Report of the Commission on the Prevention of WMD Proliferation and Terrorism. This report published December 2008 is entitled World At Risk. I hope to read it, or at least give it a glancing look. I also downloaded a publication The Bank For International Settlements (BIS) Quarterly Review December 2008. It focuses on International banking and financial market developments, and is a wealth of information on what is happening with the world/US economic crisis. It goes into a chronological discussion on what events proceeded the financial crisis the world central banking industry is presently faced with, and gives an analysis of the impact such measures presently being taken will produce. I have read other BIS documents and have found them to be timely, informative, and authoritative. The weather has turned brutal! It is bitterly cold, snowing, and the drive into work tomorrow morning will be slow. Thursday's forcast calls for freezing rain. I am glad I am off. I can sit here in my warm apartment and get some real work done.

December 15, 2008

I recovered all of my lost passwords. The ones I was unable to recover were changed. It took some doing, but I jarred my memory enough to come up with the correct security answers to those stupid questions you make up answers for. This issue was not on my radar screen. You concern yourself with remembering the passwords, and forget to write down the answers to those nagging security questions you need to answer in order to obtain them. Good to be back on track and being able to access my stuff again. I even got my Google AdSense account fixed with little consternation. This 19" LCD monitor is growing on me. I have the font set to a size that is easily readable, clear, and really quite enjoyable to work with. Considering how much text I go through in a week's time, I need to be able to view something that isn't going to putting a constant strain on my eyes. I will do laundry, organize my living room, and write my Hub on the abdominal's. The weather has turned brutally cold and a wind chill advisory was put into place. I need to clean up some of the clutter I have let go and settle in to doing the work I have set before me. While the financial markets burn in 2009, I will be working on hitting the ground running when this financial disaster is behind us. From what I have been reading, some financial professionals believe that the world economy will totally collapse first. Their main point being that the world's currency is not backed by anything tangible like gold, silver, or any other commodity of value. It is based on DEBT. I can only continue to hope and plan for a better future of my own making. I still have faith that computer technical skill is that way to go. And, I also believe that writing is a way to create financial security. I have an excellent book to write. It is all layed out in my mind. It is only a matter of putting it on paper. One year of dedication is not that much to expect if it results in changing my life.
12:35 PM
Found one more Linux+ Certification book that I want to download. It is a 2008 edition by McGraw Hill, and this should round out the materials I need. This is a publication that focuses on the test itself with two full complete practice tests and tons of sample questions. I have it all now. Nothing can stop me from passing this exam and getting this certification. I am thinking I could even get some sort of financial assistance that would help me locate a position and move if need be. I realize I am still procrastinating, but am moving forward. Laundry is in the washer. Will work on my article today. I am not making affiliate monies from the Hub yet, but it takes time. I have to remember to download the Hub articles and keep them for my archives.

December 12, 2008

Was looking through the top news this morning. I got up around 4:30 am and was not able to get back to sleep. The news is the same; war, world economic collapse, corruption. It is true ... the more things change the more they stay the same. Even if I have to work with morons, I am still collecting a paycheck. In fact, the pay I am receiving is damn good. It will afford me the luxury of not only paying my bills, it will enable me to sustain my personal goals of creating a better life. If I had zero money coming in like millions of Americans being sacrificed to corporate greed, I wouldn't be sitting here in front of a brand new computer with cable access. I have to remember that these fools I have to deal with have nothing else. This life is the best they can muster and seeing people like me who have the will to create something better is a manifestation of their weakness. To date, two million people have lost jobs this year. That figure may be higher. This news broke across the wires last night:
New unemployment benefit applications in the week ending Dec. 6 rose to a seasonally adjusted 573,000 from an upwardly revised figure of 515,000 in the previous week. And Bank of America Corp. announced it expects to cut 30,000 to 35,000 jobs over the next three years.
I have to keep my head down, my mouth shut, smile like an imbecile and collect my pay for the time being. The only password I am unable to retrieve is the one I used for my Google AdSense Account. I am not making any money with it right now, but I have to get this resolved eventually. I think it entails jumping through a number of hoops which is always a tremendous pain in the ass. Speaking of pains in the ass, what is up with these cops sexually assaulting people with their nightsticks? The world is crazy and this is only the tip of the iceberg of things to come.
9:20 AM
Spent more money today that I don't really have, but I bought some things that I need. One thing I did buy was a different computer monitor. I am ok with it, but I expected more. It is a 19 inch LCD flat screen manufactured by HANNspree. I also bought a web cam made by Logitech. When I am broadcasting on the Internet, it is jerky. I though with the high speed hook up it would act as if it were a small TV. This isn't the case. It looks very good when I turn it on and it is just tracking my movements sitting here. It also doesn't take crystal clean photographs. It does produce a fair video reproduction, but nothing to brag about. All in all I would rate these purchases on a scale of 1-10 (10 being perfect) as a six and a half. Time will tell how well this investment turns out. In the meantime, everything works. I put my old monitor back over to the Fedora work station. All the tools are now in place. I have a brand new Windows Vista station with a high speed Internet connection. I can work on my Hub and Time To Blog!, read all the news I want, and watch video clips. I will say this. The high speed connection works excellent when it comes to viewing video content. The clarity is crystal clear. It is like having a high definition TV right on my screen. I can watch a recap of the world news without turning on the television. That I do appreciate. It is all a matter of execution here on out. All my plans depend on the will to see them through. As I mentioned a few days back, a long winter is ahead. I really have nothing to do but sit here in my apartment and read/write/train. No excuses, no fear, no regret.

December 11, 2008

It is hard to get back into the groove of writing again. I know this is some what of an excuse, but when I was unable to upload to my server, I didn't write. Given the realization that working for someone else is akin to be treated like a child moron, I have to motivate myself. The idea of spending the rest of my life slaving away in some rot hole is suicidal, at best. A long cold winter lies before me, and come spring, I can be a new man with a future ahead of me. The book is still fresh in my mind. It is a matter of stiing here reading and writing 6 hours a day besides the 8 I have to sacrifice in order to survive (for now). The alternative is death, so what else is there to say?

December 9, 2008

It is great to be back online. I accidently erased my Windows OS while I was installing Fedora 9.0. It wasn't a huge loss because I had everything backed up, but it certainly was an inconvenience. It was a pain in the ass sorting through all my saved files and downloaded program installation files, along with the proper pass words digging through them to reassemble this computer back to the way I had it. I ended up buying a new machine. It has Windows Vista Home Premium, and some of the programs I was running under Windows XP no longer work. But the major ones I really wanted to work do, so I have no complaints. The new machine has more RAM than the older machine, so it is fast. I signed up for a cable service and now I can blaze through the Internet at Megabyte speed. It is very nice. I have to adjust my income outlays and by rearranging some of my spending habits I will be able to afford the extra cost involved. My other machine is still an excellent computer. It has been converted into a Linux study station, working under the Fedora 9.0 OS. It is a working laboratory of the Linux/UNIX OS and I will learn EVERYTHING about Linux. I have decided that it is time to get serious and master skills that I can utilize in creating a career opportunity. I will master the skills I need to pass the Linux+ Certification test. I know what I have to do, and it will take the greater part of 6-9 months at least, but it will be worth it. I could use an additional monitor. I do not want to be unhooking and re hooking the one monitor I have back and forth between work stations. I can afford it. Now it is time to settle into the routine. It really is good to be back! I have to get into the groove working on my Hub page too.
