I have been here in Dubuque for six months. It is difficult for me to uproot myself and change my daily routine, but it has been worth the effort. I came here with nothing but the clothes on my back. Now, I have money in the bank. I have wallet money. My social life is on hold but that is no real hardship. I have never been a social butterfly anyway. Being a loner is not bad for the most part. It is peaceful to be separate from the dramas that most people are involved with. I will continue to stick to my plans for 2015.
I will not be creating web pages and publishing research to this blog to any large degree the remainder of this year. I just haven't got the computer set up and I have more pressing personal goals to focus on. I have to put money away. I can not put myself in a similar situation like I found myself in this past year. I have to say 2014 was a wake up call. I ended up sleeping on a couch for two months. I had to put up living temporarily with a dirt ball who was the most ignorant buffoon I have ever had the displeasure of associating with.
This can not happen again.
I have not been able to keep up with my research. I am preoccupied with saving money and working. I do not have my machine hooked up to the Internet. To access the Internet, I use a tablet using free Wi-Fi provided by the hotel I live in. I need a physical keyboard to edit my HTML, so I am at the library using one of their computers. I do want to make a comment today, and that is why I made the special trip down here.
I am disappointed with the state of the present and the outlook for the future, in general. The level of ignorance this civilization has fallen to is deplorable. I have given up posting stories and articles but I am inclined to believe it is a useless past time. This is wrong thinking. The information should be posted by someone for posterity. I am afraid I won't be able to meet this challenge. Hillary Clinton has announced her bid for the office of President of the United States. Given all the bullshit she has been caught doing in the course of her political career, it boggles the mind that anyone would even consider voting for her. Her coming on national television and telling the American people they need a champion, and that person is her only reinforces the level of this woman's sheer arrogance and contempt for human decency. That is all I have to say on this matter.
