DNS Problem Brings Great Firewall of China Global

Security experts around the globe are currently trying to unravel a mysterious networking error that saw Web traffic to sites like Facebook, Twitter and YouTube rerouted to Chinese servers.
CNet reports that on Wednesday, a Chilean DNS admin sent out an e-mail to his counterparts in the rest of the world asking them about a strange problem a local ISP had noticed. The ISP said one of the main DNS root servers, called the I Root Server and operated in Sweden, was directing visitors endeavoring to access up to 30 different sites, including Facebook, Twitter and YouTube, to servers in China. Because people were being redirected to China, they ended up behind the Great Firewall of China.
It's no secret that China has changed DNS routing information to redirect users of censored services to government-run servers instead of sites such as Facebook and Twitter, however, ComputerWorld reports that this is the first public disclosure that those route have leaked outside of China. Citing Danny McPherson, a chief security officer with Arbor Networks, CW reports that the rerouting was probably an accident. McPherson says the ISP that used the bad routes probably misconfigured its (Border Gateway Protocol)
system.
"I don't think it was done intentionally," he told ComputerWorld. "This is an example of how easy it is for this information to be contaminated or corrupted or leaked out beyond the boundaries of what it was supposed to be."

Internet services to millions of users.
The reason I am posting this information is because of an odd situation I noticed while surfing the Internet yesterday afternoon between 3:00PM and 5:00PM CST. I looked up into the left hand corner of the page I was looking at, and the "title" was written in Chinese. I clicked on a different bookmark in my favorites, and once again, the "title" in the left hand upper corner of the site page was written in Chinese. I turned my FireFox browser off, restarted it, and the anomaly was corrected. I continued surfing through web sites I view occasionally to read global/financial news articles. I surfed to a new site, and once again, the upper left hand corner was in Chinese script.
I have been unable to find any reports that a problem with the Border Gateway Protocol or The Domain Name System has been reported. I really don't know what to think of this odd occurrence. My gut is telling me that the Chinese are testing their ability to redirect Internet traffic. I have been surfing the Net since I bought my first computer in December, 1996. I have never seen anything but English displayed in the "title" of any web site I have visited considering I surf English language sites. I honestly believe that China redirected my Internet traffic that should have been sent via a router controlled by my ISP. Instead, my traffic was being redirected to Chinese controlled government-run servers. I think what I experienced yesterday is similar to the above mentioned event that was reported March 26, 2010. I do not think this event reported was an accident. China is testing their ability to redirected Internet traffic to China. Through this redirection, I believe it is possible to gather information (data mine), manipulate access to information, and disrupt Internet services. In essence, this was a military exercise in cyber warfare.

I was listening to John Kaminski talking on a podcast with Daryl Bradforth Smith. I know many people think this Smith character is an ass hole, an anti-Semite, and basically a Jew hater. They may be correct. I don't have to buy into any of these characterizations to listen to the content of the podcast/message I am listening to. The same goes for documents I research. I don't believe half the things I read, but my goal is to sift through the chaff looking for wheat. And over the course of years through painstaking diligence, wheat can be found. I employ the same methods with the podcasts I listen to.
Near the end of the conversation Smith asks Kaminki what he really thought was going to be occurring in the future. Did he believe all the bad things being bantered around the Internet. Would the US economy disintegrate? Will the sun explode or will an asteroid destroy planet Earth in 2012? His answer struck a nerve,
"It doesn't really matter if anything bad happens in the future.
Something bad has happened already. We have lost our faith in our fellow man."
I agree. We can't trust our elected officials to govern. I don't think we ever could, but there was a time in the not too distant past where politicians did take care of business. They might have been stuffing their pockets with money, but they weren't selling us down the river. There was a time in the not too distant past that we could, to some degree, trust people. Crime has always been a problem. Now, it's insane. It isn't safe to walk to the corner store. America has become a jungle, and it is only going to get worse.
I have to put this knowledge aside. I know which way the wind is blowing. I am aware. I can not allow myself to become obsessed with it. I am doing what I can to prepare for the worst. This is all I can do. I really can't do more.
I do like Webster G. Tarpley. I listen to his weekly podcast and read what he writes concerning the financial debacle created by Wall Street Greed. This is another fine piece of his journalism.

It has been a long day and it isn't over. I said I was going to train today. I am keeping my word. I am a sad sack of shit. The only positive note is there is only one place to go, and that is forward. I haven't hit rock bottom, but I am light years from where I have been. I am disappointed, but old man time is a ruthless and relentless enemy. This truth must be a held in constant vigilance. Other than that, I am enjoying the time off I have. The weather continues to be spectacular! Got outside early and did my hike thing along the trail I discovered last summer. It would be a good thing to get up early everyday and hit the trail before work. Early morning looks to be the only real opportunity I have to train. If this is what is, then I will make the best of it.

Drove over to Oregon ( 7 miles from Stoughton) to check my PO Box. My van wouldn't start. Had to wait 45 minutes for the tow truck to arrive. Dropped off my vehicle at the repair shop down the street. I do not need this shit. Every time I even get close to saving a few scraps, something comes along that costs money. I'm never going to accumulate wealth in this lifetime. As long as I have a roof over my head and have food to eat, I should be happy. Is that all there is to living in the present moment? I know it's not. That is why I have goals. That is why I am working on my intellect, my physical fitness, and my spirituality. These are the things that matter most. If you don't have a roof over your head they are still possible to obtain. It is extremely more difficult but not impossible. Hunger is another thing. There is a fine line between hunger and starvation. Looks like I will be eating more rice and oatmeal these coming weeks. I will try to keep a level perspective. I could be much worse off.

The van is home. I swear, I get so tired of this material hell hole, I almost welcome the notion of an Extinction Event. I know I shouldn't think like this. The end is coming sooner than I would like as it is. The end as far as the "way of life" I was raised to believe in is reality.

Just thought I would throw this out here. I listened to some of the interviews on Coast to Coast. Hard to accept the dire predictions, but these predictions aren't any more drastic than the ones made by Gerald Celente. In fact, they compliment each other. That is what concerns me. Gerald Celente has a proven track record.

I enjoyed my first day off on the the three day mini-vacation I have. I went to Ho-Chunk Casino and walked out of there with $100 more than I had. Not really worth the risk but I enjoyed the drive to Wisconsin Dells. It was a beautiful day to be outside. Tomorrow I will train. Not only just train, but train all day. This is what I need to do to get this program back on track. It is going to take an extraordinary level of effort and commitment to lodge my head out from my ass and get back to serious business. This training is the foundation of everything moving forward successfully. Without this foundation, I am nothing and my life is less. It is that important. A note about these prognosticators. Everything I have for seen through my own research has basically occurred, or is occurring. I don't need these sources to glimpse into the possible realities or probable scenarios. They reinforce what I have found through my own efforts. It brings me a degree of satisfaction knowing my thought processes and my powers of analysis are strong. It doesn't bestow me any comfort. One thing it does do, it validates the power of my own will. This is my sword. I have to keep it sharp. That is why I must train every single day I have left walking upright. I know what to do. I have a problem with Aldous Huxley. I hear people on podcasts praising this man for his great vision. I have heard said that Huxley was a pioneer of the counter culture. I don't see it this way. Maybe I'm wrong. Since Brave New World was published (1932), the world has been drugged and stupified. In 1971, George Lucas directed a film writen by Francis Ford Coppola called THX 1138. It's a Huxley drug utopia from hell. The Powers That Be would love to have us all pacified (drugged) or controlled (chipped) as long as they don't have to loose their humanity. I know people need medications and drugs to be healthy, but we all don't need them. Children are being put on medication at an alarming rate, and at younger ages than ever before. These anti-depressents are causing obesity. The United States has become fat and stupid.
This is what the vision of a drug utopia has brought us.
Maybe Huxley was trying to bring peace to this Earth with this vision he presented in the book Brave New World. If that was the case, his vision was corrupted. How smart is a man who hands a gun to the scum bag intent on robbing you? That's the problem I have with him. He doesn't come off as being stupid. Was he naive or was he telling these bastards ... "this is how you do it."

I like what George Green has to say.
I am focused on my training and my own personal agenda of living a full life, the best I am able, regardless of what happens. I have found the best martial art/physical fitness video I have seen. This Russian Martial Art called "The System" taught by Vladimir Vasiliev is amazing. This man knows what he is doing. He isn't just some yahoo selling videos. The techniques are real. This is what I have been searching for. I also need to keep my tangsoodo skills sharp. The forms are an excellent vehicle to physical health. All of the techniques and knowledge of the art of tangsoodo are incorporated in the forms. On a personal level, this year is one of great potential. I knew that coming into it. Life is good. I have evrything I need. The one thing I do not have is someone to share my life with. This needs to be corrected.

My new blade arrived in the mail today. It is more than what I expected. The edge is fully serrated. In the picture I was looking at, the edge was serrated about one fourth of the total length. Being fully serrated is far superior for the purpose I intend to use it for, if necessary. I double checked prices. I got this knife from a wholesale outfit I found on the Internet called KnivesPlus. If I were to purchase the exact same product directly from Spyderco, the cost would have been 54.95 + shipping & handling. I saved myself approximately $20. I am very pleased with this purchase. I may even buy a second one. It's that good of a deal and it's that good of a knife.
I managed to finagle two vacation days next week, coupled with a regular day off. That makes for a mini-vacation of three days. I think I may go to the Dells for a night, hang around The Ho-Chunk Hotel & Casino and just have a good time.

I just ordered a second knife. Here is a picture. This is a perfect, close combat tactical weapon. Of course, you have to know how to handle it. It is not in itself magical. In the right hands, it is. The second one will remain mint condition/in the box.

Please, put the racial slurs aside. Put the anti-Semetic comments aside. Listen to the financial analysis of this podcast. I have been following this financial collapse for a very long time. I'm not a financial wizard. I am not a financial analyst. I am not ignorant. For those of you that have visited this site over the past number of years, you know that it is not hubris for me to say I have seen this collapse coming. I also said I didn't have the power to stop it. It has been frustrating. I do not accept easily being lied to. I do not take being manipulated lying down. The constant battle to find middle ground in this spiritual black hole has weighed heavily. The struggle to find peace in the present moment is a daily battle. I think I am doing ok. I can not give into despair. I know that this existence here in this time and this place, on this plane of three dimentional perception is an illusion. And given that conclusion, death is also an illusion. I do not take pleasure in knowing that I may witness the end of history, but I am here for a reason. If this is it, I accept that. In the meantime, I will continue to expand and enhance my intellect. I will train my body, my mind and my spirit. I think I must in order to embrace what I know is to pass, and to take the next step ... where ever that will lead me.

This statement on free information is concise and grounded. I came across it reading this article on ACTA:
In a socialist nation, free information relieves the burden of cost from the people. In a communist nation free information can spread ideas that are considered harmful to communism. In a capitalist nation free information can ruin the net profit of the rich while giving more power to the poor.
I know very little about ACTA. I know it has been operating behind closed doors, and Internet watch dogs have complained about it's lack of transparency. I downloaded the agreement made public today. It would be in my best interest to read it.

Here is a bit of interesting news. Project Camelot produced by Kerry Lynn Cassidy & Bill Ryan is toast. I read a number of comments in various forums, and also read press releases by both parties as to why they have decided to go their seperate ways. Some of the reason given in the forums are that Project Camelot pissed off too many powerful people. Here are some of those comments ...
The Illuminati was angered by the interview of Leo Zagami - ex-member of the Comitato Esecutivo Massonico - Masonic Executive Committee (MEC) of Monte Carlo. Powerful extraterrestrial beings were upset that their plans of forming a New World Order were being thrwarted. The Shadow Governments were upset with their "black operations" being exsposed. Because of these reasons, Project Camelot was torpedoed. There is also speculation that the two were lovers, and this split is a boy/girl thing.
For what it is worth, this is what I believe.
I mentioned the Leo Zagami interview here on this blog. I said at the time it was the most pitiful example of investigative journalism I had ever witnessed. I said that the reputation of Project Camelot would suffer. I think my observations were correct. I talked about the obvious personal agenda of Kerry Lynn Cassidy. If the guests didn't adhere to this agenda, she lashed out at them like a vicious, immature child. I was disgusted at the treatment of Leo Zagami. It didn't matter to me what he was saying, if I thought he was telling the truth or he was filling me with crap. He was treated like shit. This was the nail in Project Camelot's coffin. Apparently, a great many other people who were fans of Project Camelot got fed up with this woman's antics. She blames Bill Ryan for the split. According to her, he blew the cover of two "whistle blowers" he thought were either phonies or who were agents peddling misinformation. According to Kerry Lynn Cassidy it was a matter of integrity ...
Unfortunately, Bill Ryan recently decided that the statement of confidentiality and secrecy was to be amended to say in essence "if I, Bill Ryan, decide subsequently, that the story told to us in confidence is false or misleading I will then take it upon myself to out the witness and thereby reveal our "source" to the world, putting their lives and the lives of their loved ones in danger, as well as violating the clear implied and expressed agreement that we have established in writing previously with them and to the world."
I also read some comments that she has hitched her wagon to David Wilcock. I find this credible considering water seeks it's own level. Project Camelot was big. That is why I have devoted this much print to it's demise. Many people have also come to this conclusion; it was nothing but a hoax from day one. Kerry Lynn Cassidy & Bill Ryan were, and are, nothing but opportunist out to make a quick buck off the Aquarian Age hype and New Age dribble spewing in abundance here on the World Wide Web. It has to be noted that many of the guests they did interview had way too many web sites selling way too many products. Gurus come and go. They tell you they seek enlightenment. This may be true, but they are stuffing money into their pockets with both hands.

Ordered a new blade today. The one I have is very good, but after doing some research, the one I ordered is better. Here is a picture of my new tactical self defense weapon - The Tenacious by Syderco. I have read comments on various knife forums, and I did not come across a single bad review of this knife. I got a decent price for it; within the realm of bargain at $35.97 + Shipping $8.50 (Ground UPS): Grand Total of $44.47. I still love my original Balisongs made by Benchmade. I have three. Two of them have never been used and rarely even opened. They are what would be considered "mint condition." They are collector items now that they are no longer being manufactured. It is illegal to carry one, so I have to settle for the shorter/legal tactical folding blade. The ability to open this blade with one hand, and open it quickly, make it an excellent all around self defense tool. Now that it is getting warmer, I plan on getting up early in the morning and work out before I head to work. This is the only time I have to train. Once I get back into better shape, I will push myself and train after work also. I can no longer afford to waste precious time. Time is energy and energy is power.
Here is a picture of the knife I carry now. It is sturdy and well made. It retails at $38, so it isn't just a cheap blade. If it comes down to cutting someone and doing it clean and efficiently, you can't cut corners on cost.

I wish I had something exciting to report, but all is as it is. The hidden hand continues to wring every last drop of wealth it can from the global treasure trove. In the wake of this extraction nations break and the people are left numbed by the consistent shock wave. This hand blinds the masses, long stupefied by material gain. As the scramble for subsistence intensifies, those who are responsible remain invisible, clocked in secrecy by their common goal of world domination. "He who controls the gold, controls the world." The press churns out it's relentless stream of gibberish telling us all is well, and that prosperity is once again right around the corner. It is only our misguided perceptions that are telling us that the world is circling the drain. Things aren't bad, they are better. I know the world I once knew has vanished into the annals of history. This is the way things are. Going back to a time of peace, prosperity, truth, liberty, and hope, isn't part of the New World Order's Agenda. I find no solace in having a job and being able to maintain a modest lifestyle. I should, but I am saddened. Seeing behind the curtain has not brought me satisfaction or security. What is important now is seeing behind the veil. In the final analyzes, this world is an illusion, and all the gold in the world can not change this cornerstone of truth. This knowledge is my refuge. In the meantime, I must use the knowledge of vibration to fashion my own reality tunnel. Regardless of what the masses believe to be true, they are mistaken and misled. Is it my responsibility to correct this? The Great Work tells me it is. I don't know if I am up to the challenge. I don't know if I really give a rat's ass about the blind and ignorant brutes compassionately referred to as humanity. I am just barely able to muster the will to continue doing what I have to do in order to help myself survive in the present turmoil. I have worked relentlessly. I deserve to rest on that laurel without justification.

WikiLeaks has released a classified US military video depicting the indiscriminate slaying of over a dozen people in the Iraqi suburb of New Baghdad -- including two Reuters news staff.
Reuters has been trying to obtain the video through the Freedom of Information Act, without success since the time of the attack. The video, shot from an Apache helicopter gun-site, clearly shows the unprovoked slaying of a wounded Reuters employee and his rescuers. Two young children involved in the rescue were also seriously wounded.
WikiLeaks wants to ensure that all the leaked information it receives gets the attention it deserves. In this particular case, some of the people killed were journalists that were simply doing their jobs: putting their lives at risk in order to report on war. Iraq is a very dangerous place for journalists: from 2003- 2009, 139 journalists were killed while doing their work.
I found this film and decided to put a link here. I did not watch the entire 39:14. I saw enough to get the idea of what was happening. I may watch it in it's entirety. I did not see people with weapons; AK-47's or RPM's. I really did not see anything that looked threatening or suspicious. These are facts you will have to decide for yourself. This graphic and violent film does not change my opinion of President Hamid Karzai. I still think he is a problem, and will continue to be a problem. If our goal is to win hearts and minds, this bastard has to go.

President Hamid Karzai Threatens to join Taliban.
Karzai has been fuming for months about what he considers Washington's heavy hand. He's gambling that blaming outsiders for the troubles in a society with a long tradition of resisting occupation will bolster his stature at home — while carrying little risk because the U.S. has no choice but to deal with him. ( Where did this petty little drug dealer and war lord want-to-be get the idea he is somebody?)
Karzai's comments suggest that his understanding of partnership differs from Obama's considerably. On certain issues, Karzai clearly wants Washington to back off. (Karzi wants a bigger piece of the drug trade to fatten up his personal bank account.)
"It's just to make sure that we all understand as to where each one of us stands," Karzai said. "Afghanistan is the home of Afghans and we own this place. And our partners are here to help in a cause that's all of us. We run this country, the Afghans." ( Karzi is sick of outsiders meddling in his election fraud and reporters running stories exposing the enormity of corruption in the country that leads directly to him.)
Obama made a mistake when he visited Afghanistan last week. He should of had a .45 strapped to his hip, walked right up to Karzi, stuck the barrel down his throat, and asked him point blank, who in the fuck do you think you are?" Somewhere along the line this ass hole got the idea he is somebody. He decided he could steal whatever he wanted, do whatever he wanted, and say whatever he wanted. Who ever is handling him screwed up, big time.

I was unable to stay awake for the entire ten hour ceremony intended while preparing my spiritual medicine. I did the best I could. It doesn't seem to have hurt the results. I won't know until I drink it. Since I have never done this before, I don't know what the final product is supposed to look like. This entire project may be a bust for all I know, but it was worth trying. I'll make sure my house is in order, and then I will begin this perilous but potentially rewarding journey.

Things do not always turn out as planned. The ingredients I had must not have contained enough of the psychoactive substances needed to put me over the top. I am not disappointed. It was a learning experience. I'm sure I prepared them the way intended. The next time around, I will return to the tested and true plant material I have had the best results with.

Made it through another week of working for the man. One of these days I will fully extract my head from my ass and start working for myself. I don't know if that will ever materialize, but I'd be a fool not to work towards that end. I like the look of this page. It has some zing. I remember when I first started working with HTML and putting pages together. I didn't know much, but I stayed with it. I still don't know that much all these years later, but the appearance and the content suits me. That is all that matters. What I do know suits my purpose. The same can be said of knowledge. The ocean is so deep, the frontiers are so vast, it is overwhelming to consider the depth and breath of it all. I keep telling myself to narrow my focus and concentrate on a small area that suits me and one that brings me pleasure. That is what it all boils down to. At this point in my life, I need to stop and feel the sunshine, see the beauty, and enjoy the things that life has to offer. That doesn't have to cost much, if anything. I have tomorrow off, and I am ready to take this step into the depths of my soul. I have preparations to tend to. More than likely, I will be up till early morning. I will hit the hay and sleep till late afternoon. I will take my prepared spiritual medicine around 6:00 PM. I don't know what to expect, so I am not expecting anything. All I seek, if I seek anything, is self improvement: Know Thyself.

It's 12:45 AM. I wasn't able to sleep so I got out of bed and decided to jot something down for April. The year is flying. I really have to stay on top of things here. I know something isn't right with time. The faster we speed the flow of information up, the faster time is also being sped up. This may sound ridiculous, and I have no scientific proof to back this statement with. Never the less, I believe it. I have read other comments by people who follow information technology, and they said the same thing. They can't explain why they feel this way, or explain the phenomena of this time acceleration. I think it all ties in with Terence McKenna's theory of Timewave Zero.
The theory of Timewave Zero was revealed to Terence by an alien intelligence following a bizarre, quasi-psychedelic experiment conducted in the Amazon jungle in Colombia in 1971. Inspired by this influence Terence was instructed in certain transformation of numbers derived from the King Wen sequence of I Ching hexagrams. This led eventually to a rigorous mathematical description of what Terence calls the timewave, which correlates time and history with the ebb and flow of novelty, which is intrinsic to the structure of time and hence of the temporal universe. A peculiarity of this correlation is that at a certain point a singularity is reached which is the end of history - or at least is a transition to a suprahistorical order in which our ordinary conceptions of our world will be radically transformed. The best current estimate for the date of this point is December 21, 2012 CE [common era], the winter solstice of that year and also the end of the current era in the Mayan calendar. McKenna repeatedly describes human cultural development as a succession of historical periods which are "compressed" versions of each other. In this manner, he describes an overall acceleration of human cultural development, which he likens to a "tightening spiral" approaching what he describes as the "transcendental object of the universe".
This End of History was to be the final manifestation of The Eschaton, which McKenna characterized as a sort of strange attractor towards which the evolution of the universe developed.
His predictions for this transcendent event were wide ranging and varied, depending on his audience, and different times he conjectured the following: the mass of humanity would, by means of some technology, become mentally conjoined in a great collective; the moment in which time travel became a reality; the birth of self-conscious artificial intelligence; a global UFO visitation; and occasionally he even expressed doubt whether anything at all would happen. If Terence McKenna is correct, than it makes sense that time (as we are now experiencing it) is being compressed as we get closer to this singularity. I think this man was brilliant.
