The Ra Material
The Ra material is some of the most fascinating information derived by channeling to ever come to light. A man named Don Elkins started L/L Research in 1955 with the objective of "discovering and sharing information that would aid in the spiritual evolution of humankind." Pursuant to this, he spent years talking to people who had experiences with UFO-related phenomena, which led him into more areas of the paranormal, culminating in the Ra Material, which involved channeling sessions, with Carla Rueckert as the channeler, James McCarty as the transcriber of the taped material, and Don himself asking the questions. All three were always present during sessions (which lasted from 1981 until 1984), and created a "triangulation of light" that allowed the Ra entity to come through and compile the "Ra Material" or the "Law of One."
Ra initially introduced himself as a 6th Density entity (out of 8 - we are now in the 3rd Density) and as a "Social Memory Complex or Group Soul," and says that he had to wait to come through until the "instrument" (Carla) was precisely tuned, as he had a "narrow band vibration." He always started new sessions with the statement "I am Ra. I greet you in the light and love of the One Infinite Creator. We communicate now." He ended each communication with "I am Ra. I leave you in the light and love Of the One Infinite Creator, Go forth, therefore, rejoicing in the power and peace of the One Infinite Creator. Adonai." He also began virtually every reply to questioning with the statement "I am Ra."
As far as the purpose of Ra channeling through Carla, Ra gives this explanation:
"I am Ra. We communicate now. We are those who are of the Law of One. In our vibration the polarities are harmonized; the complexities are simplified; the paradoxes have a solution. We are one. That is our nature and our purpose.
We are old upon your planet and have served with varying degrees of success in transmitting the Law of One, of Unity, of Singleness to your peoples. We have walked your planet. We have seen the faces of your peoples. However, we now feel the great responsibility of staying in the capacity of removing the distortions and powers that have been given to the Law of One. We will continue in this until, shall we say, your cycle is appropriately ended. If not this one, then the next. We are not a part of time and thus are able to be with you in any of your times.
Ra goes on to talk about a variety of presently ill-understood topics, including the Pyramids, Other Dimensions, Earth Changes, UFO's, the Soul and Life After Death, to name just a few. The material is deep and often requires reading and re-reading for understanding, but is nevertheless fascinating stuff that is an absolute must-do for anyone serious about delving further into all things unknown.
